3. Jaeden has a crush?

Jaeden's POV:
I woke up feeling happy. Which is not what I normally wake up to. 'What is going on?'
I quickly got dressed and watched the cute neighbor walk out of his house probably to school. 'Why is he so early?'. I shrugged and walked down stairs.
I grabbed my lunch and ate breakfast.
"Oh hey jaeden!", my mum said happily.
"Hey mum. Did you welcome the neighbors yesterday?"
"Yes! They're very nice and I met the cute boy I was telling you about yesterday! His name is Wyatt-"
"I know"
"What? How-"
"Never mind, continue"
My mum gave me a weird look but I ignored it.
"He's really nice, I think you two would get along just fine"
"Cool", I said trying not to sound too interested, which I was, but I don't need her to know that.
"Oh! He's going to the same school as yours! Exiting right?"
"Yay. Super exited. I think I'm gonna go now, bye mum", I ran.
"Bye honey!"
I sighed and grabbed my bag. 'Welp I guess I'm gonna meet him today'
(Time skip - in school)
"Hey jaeden!", I smiled.
"Hey jack"
"So do you know who it is?"
"Excuse me?", 'what in the world is he talking about now'
"Your soulmate! Oh come on! I can't believe you already forgot!"
"Oh. Right. Uh. No"
"I noticed", he rolled his eyes.
"Hey!", I punched him softly making him laugh.
"I have great news! I'll tell you and the rest in lunch though..."
"Oh yeah. I have... news too", I mumbled.
"Cool! See ya in lunch then?"
I smiled and nodded. "Cya"
I walked to my home room. 'I'm late. Great'
I opened the door and walked in quickly.
"Jaeden Wesley!", the teacher called.
"Here", I said loud enough for her to hear me.
"This is the third time you've been late Mister!"
I sighed and apologized.
I sat in my desk and grabbed my stuff.
"Guys! We have a new student! His name is-"
'OMG ITS HIM- act normal. Casual. You got this'
"Finn Wolfhard"
'What?', I looked at him up and down. 'He definitely isn't Wyatt'
He had black curly hair, not as curly as wyatt's though, he had dark brown eyes and a big smile. 'He looks nice. He looks like jack's type lol'.
I sighed a bit disappointed. Finn sat in front of me.
The class had already started but I was already in another world.
A knock interrupted my thoughts.
"Come in", the teacher said. "Oh! Yes! We have another new student guys! Welcome Wyatt Oleff"
I immediately looked up. 'HES HERE' I quickly fixed my shirt and stared at the boy. He was wearing a light blue shirt and light brown shorts. Wyatt looked at me and smiled. 'OMG THAT SMILE IS BREATHTAKING'. I saw his cheeks go from pink to a dark red. 'Did I say that out loud? I didn't did I? No. I didn't. Unless he read my mind. That's impossible right? He couldn't have read my mind right? No way. He's probably just nervous'
"Wyatt you can sit wherever you want"
He nodded staring at me. I watched as he walked past me. 'What? Did he just- oh. Right. Damn it Ben. I forgot he sits here. Ugh'. I watched as he walked away.
I sighed softly and looked away.
'That has to be him', I heard.
"Huh?". Ben looked at me confused. 'Oh shit he heard me-'
I shrugged it off and spaced off.
"Jaeden!", I heard my name. "Stop spacing off and pay attention!". I nodded quickly and looked down embarrassed.
'So his name is Jaeden', I heard again.
"What?", I whispered to Ben.
"I didn't say anything", he whispered back confused.
"Oh okay", I mumbled. 'This is weird'
(Time skip - lunch)
"Hey jaeden!", Sophia yelled.
"Hey", I smiled.
"Do you know who it is?"
"What?- oh. Right. Nope"
"Damn it. Oh well. Let's go get lunch"
We walked to lunch and our table was already full. Everyone was there already.
"Hey guys", Sophia said.
I sat quietly next to Jack. 'I think I should ask him about the thing that happened in class-'
"Guys I need to tell you something!", Jack practically yelled.
Everyone in the table stopped talking and looked at Jack making him blush.
"Hehe... s-so the thing is... that I think I have the mark too..", everyone gasped.
"Show us!", Chosen smiled.
Jack pulled out his hoodie and showed us his arm. "There's a heart right there... see?", he pointed to a certain place.
"He's right. I can see it", Jeremy laughed.
'Yup. There it is'
"Do you know when it appeared?", I asked.
"I think it was last week... I'm not so sure though"
I sighed looking down. "Jack I need to ask you something... about my soulmate"
Jack stared at me a bit worried. "Don't worry, it's nothing bad... I think"
He smiled encouragingly. "W-well... I've been hearing another voice lately... like... inside my mind? Does that make sense-"
"Oh My Gosh! I read about that today! You can read your soulmates mind... it's very complicated but basically the first time you stare at their eyes you can read some of their thoughts for a day or two... I think it's pretty cool"
"Oh.... okay"
"So do you know who it is? What did they say?"
I gulped. 'Could it be him? Nah. He can't be'
"Jaeden? Earth to jaeden!", Jack waved in front of my face trying to get my attention.
"Right. Sorry... uhh I don't know who it is yet... they said stuff like 'oh so his name is Jaeden' and that's all I can remember...", I lied blushing a little.
"Do you think it's a boy? Or is it girl?"
"I-I think it's a b-boy but I'm not sure", I blushed.
"Awww... I wish I knew who my soulmate is..."
"Oh. Yeah. Today a new boy called Finn Wolfhard and I think you might like him"
"He's not my soulmate though... he got to school today..."
"But what if he arrived to town last week? You don't know that"
"That's true... I should talk to him..."
"Yeah-"
"Oh My Gosh", Jack gasped.
"What?"
"Who is that beautiful boy over there?", he said dreamily.
"Wyatt?"
