Storm was in her room, still reeling from the news that her twin brother was in fact dating their music teacher, and she grabbed her phone quickly.
She opens it up and then she sent a super quick text out, and she climbed out of the window silently, and then she ends up quickly running off.
She made her way across town and she found herself at the Drive In and she saw the person she needed to talk to, he was already there.
"Are you serious about this? You know, that you can't back out ever after the three trials." The man said and she looked at him, with a nod.
"I'm ready. I can't stand in the shadows as a Bulldog. I'm not one of them, not anymore. I can't be one of them, Tall Boy." She says and he shook his head.
"I talked to the boss, he said that you're good and ready to skip the first trial, is there a good reason for that?"
He asks of her, with a slightly accusing tone of voice and she shakes her head at him.
"I've already got a dog at home, Tall Boy. What is the god damn second of the three trials?" She asked, as he just shook his head at her.
"You've got a week to prepare for it. It is at the Whyte Wyrm, the bar for our Serpents." He says and she nodded.
"Also, don't you ever ahead of time thank me yet. Just because you've got in with the Big Boss, doesn't mean you are in with every Serpent around."
He warns her in somewhat earnest tone of voice, just as his motorcycle was driving off.
Then she walked over to Sunnyside Trailer Park, where she knew that Jug had lived with his father. She walks to the trailer and then she knocks on the door.
"Open up!" She snapped through the door and she came face to face with a drunken mess of a man, who was in a blurred state of drunk.
"I've got a week until the second trial." She said as he drank a bunch of water from the fridge in an attempt to quickly sober up.
"FP I need serious help. You're the only one I could think of." She says, and bangs the palm of her left hand hard down onto the table.
"I need a mentor. I'm gonna need to remember all of this, as well as keep a snake from biting my hand off while retrieving a knife?" Storm asked and she shakes her head.
"You wanted to be one of us. I'm telling you how to be one of us, but you need to remember these. If you don't, you're out right away, before I can even begin to let you near to the number 3." FP said and Storm nods.
"I'll come back after school every day, until I've got these memorized. Thank you." She said as she was now quickly shaking hands with him.
He nods at her quickly. "Now get on home Tempest. Before you have to get up for school." He says, as she nods at him, standing up quickly and running off.
She had dark bags around her eyes when she walked into school the next day and found Veronica and Betty watching as Chuck and his goons were marched out of the school in shame.
"They were all responsible for what happened to Veronica and so many of these other girls. Who were all just as shamed as sluts by the football team as Veronica had been."
Betty says and Storm looks at her right palm, then she promptly hid it back in her pocket, when everyone tried to look at it as they noticed her doing it.
"Is something wrong?" Jughead asked as he walked her home from school as she shakes her head.
"Look, you ran off immediately and you were looking completely terrified suddenly. When I first told you about Archie and Grundy." He said and she'd bite her lip hard.
"Jug, I'd trust you with any information that you ever needed, ever. Except for that one, the button that you are pushing right now." She said and he looked at her with a sigh, but nodded.
"Okay. I understand, but if you ever need to talk about it..." He let his word trail off and she nodded.
"I know Jones." She said, clapping him, gently on the shoulder, before she jogs up to her porch, and Vegas immediately tackled her.
"Oof! Yeah I know boy, let me change my shirt first. I stink!" She says, as she was rubbing his head, and she walked inside with a salute to Jughead, which he with a smile, returned.
