It's been a week, since the discovery of Jason Blossom's body. But his death is not the first. Nor would it be the last casualty that the town of Riverdale would suffer.

The Twilight Drive-In, where I work, my home away from home... a piece of town history, is closing for good, just when we needed a place to escape to the most.

With Sheriff Keller knockin' on every door, and with all neighbors suspecting neighbors... Riverdale, every day that passes is becoming more like Salem it was during the witch trials.

And meanwhile, the girl next door... our friendly neighborhood Hitchcock blond, Betty Cooper... was wrestling with the knowledge that her best friend Archie Andrews... was caught up in a forbidden romance.

Jughead looked up over his laptop computer and Storm was sitting with her head on the table, and she was asleep and almost snoring.

"Tempest, wake up." He nudges her gently in the arm as she almost broke his hand quickly.

"Oh god, Jug, I'm sorry." She says dropping his wrist quickly, and he shakes his head at her.

"It's not your fault. I should've known that it was you." She said, and she was rubbing her eyes hard.

"I'm sorry Juggy, I think I need to just go home to sleep. Call you later?" She asked and clenchin' her teeth together with quick attempt to stop a couple of yawns from showing up.

She walked out with a nod to Pop before she walked out of the shop and went down the street towards her house.

She took a detour and ended up on the Southside, following instructions left by Tall Boy and Mustang, two of the other Serpents.

She knocked on the door of the Whyte Wyrm and Mustang opens it. "Been, a whole week already?" He asked as she walked inside, following him.

"Hey! Everyone listen up!" Tall Boy shouted and everyone quieted down at once, and Storm followed Mustang quickly in silence.

"This girl has expressly and in every way, absolutely refused to do normal induction of girls into the Serpents. It is also with permission from the boss, that she's been allowed to do it like all of us have done. Anyone have a beef, I suggest you speak now." Tall Boy says.

"Why does she get to do it the guy way? We all had to do it the other way and we have a newcomer who doesn't have to?" A girl shouted.

"If you've got a problem with it Byrdie, you go to me with it, and you don't take it out on her. She's as tough or tougher, then any one of us guys in the Serpents. Stronger and faster then mostly anyone. She is a tough fighter, a survivor. If she wants to do it the way that we do it, then I say we let her." FP came downstairs and was now standing next to Storm, who just looks at Byrdie with a raised eyebrow.

"You know what to do, little Hurricane." He says and she nods slightly and all of the Serpents were watching her, as the rattlesnake was brought out, and she said nothing.

The older members raised their eyebrows at her, while the younger members, who had only just gotten into the Serpents, were watching her with awe in their eyes.

She looked at the knife handle and looked at the Rattlesnake, which was hissing at her sharply, and she shifted from side to side, as if she was one as well.

The snake was focused on her right hand, and the left snatched the knife before the snake could bite at her.

"Yeah!" The younger Serpents began to yell loudly, and clapping her on the back hard as she presents the knife to Tall Boy and FP, who both look at her, with slight smiles on their faces.

"Now, I've got to get to the Drive-In, it's been a long day." Storm said and FP handed her a helmet and they all drove off to the Drive In.

After the movie, she looked at Archie who was sobbing, and she walks over to him. "Archie. What happened?" She whispered and he looks at her, but he just hugs her instead of using words.

After he walked inside, she rode her bike back to the Drive In, and found Jughead still there. "Give me a can."

She said to him as she noticed what he was doing and then he tossed her a paint can without any words, and she smiled.

"You've got the sign." She said as she shook the paint can, and started to be the one to spray her name quick, and a snake sign on the wall as well.

"Jughead Jones wuz here. That's a classic." She said as they both tossed their paint cans to the side, and she'd hear someone come up behind them.

"They'll tear that booth down too. Raze the whole place. Send it to the junkyard. And us with it." FP said.

"Yeah. Maybe they'll save it. All the pieces. Store it in the town hall attic and rebuild it in a hundred years. Let all the people wonder who the hell we were." Jughead was smiling at the thought of it.

"Maybe they will. You never know Jughead. I've gotta get going, my dad is aware that I didn't sleep last night, FP." She said to his father, nodding as she jogged away.
