"Now this is cool. You've got a pool table in here?" Sweet Pea was saying as she shut the garage door.

"My dad's old stinky paperwork and crap is all over the house and in guest rooms. So, he let me have the garage."

She says and he nods, picking up a cue stick and she grabbed her own as they gathered the balls up quickly.

"I'm breaking. My table." Storm says and Sweet Pea shrugs, as she sent the cue ball flying neatly into them.

The solids went in first. "Your go." She said and he chuckled, as she motioned him towards the table.

It was 6 games of pool later, when Storm finally looked at her phone and realized, that it was already, long time past midnight.

"I know you don't like hearing it, but you've got school tomorrow. And also, my brother's gonna be home soon. He will freak if he finds out that I've got a Serpent in my room. Especially, if said Serpent can beat me at pool." She says and he nodded putting the cue stick to the side.

"Yeah all right. See you tomorrow then." He says and she nods slightly at him, as he walked out.

She shut the door behind him, and throws herself onto the couch with a grunt, as she pulled the sleeping bags onto herself for extra blankets.

She was going to school the next morning and she heard Archie yelling at their father over something that was probably stupid.

She got a very short message from Sweet Pea and a couple of the other Serpents, and she sighed, as she left her stuff at her school after lunch.

"So, what's up? Got the message, the quarry?" She asks, as she caught up to the other Serpents, who were going to find Toni.

"Yeah, we needed a place to hang outside of school. Away from Ghoulies and crap."

Fangs answered her, as they all walked towards the Red and Black offices, where Jughead and Toni, they were most likely at.

"So, you showed up." Sweet Pea says as she caught up to him, while the rest just followed.

"Well, yeah. I'm ahead in all of my classes, and technically, don't tell my brother, I sort of finished high school last year." She said and he looked at her.

"You're doing it again? Why?" He asked and she shoved her hands into her pockets, and shakes her head.

"So I don't have to leave my brother again. My family's here. Yeah I do love my mom. But she tore me away from my twin. So, I needed another reason to stay." She says and he nodded.

He opens the door and walked into the Red and Black office. "Topaz. Let's bounce." Sweet Pea said and looked at Jughead who's eyes were narrowed at Storm.

"Tempest." Jughead said.

"Jughead." Storm responded as Toni hugs her with one arm. "I'm not a hug person, Toni." She muttered.

"Jones, wanna come with? We're going down to the quarry." Sweet Pea said and Storm raised her eyebrows at Jughead.

"Uh, I don't have my beach bod yet."

A real hesitant tone of voice was Jughead's vocal tone, as he turned away from them.

"What? You'll ask for help from the Serpents, but you won't hang with us? I mean, unless you're friends with the brother of one, of course." Sweet Pea's voice was venom.

"Hey, don't you bring my twin brother, into this. If Jughead hangs out with us it's his choice, not ours."

Storm's tone was ice, as she spoke to the room at large and Jughead raised his eyebrows at her.

"Don't come crawling to us, hat in hand, when some Ghoulie decides to earn his stripes now, by taking out FP Jones' kid." Sweet Pea was angry now and Storm, being herself shot Jughead a warning look, which of course was ignored.

"Duly noted. Thank you, Sweet Pea. I appreciate what you and the Serpents have done for me and my dad. I do. But I'm done. Okay?" Jughead asked and Sweet Pea stepped forward, but Toni and Storm were there to block it.

"Hey, hey, he made up his mind, okay? Take the hint, Sweet Pea. He is just not that into you." Toni said to him, Storm said nothing, but her eyes blazed with a sharp fire.

Sweet Pea nods slightly and walked out of the Red and Black offices. "Let's motor." Toni follows quickly, and the others went towards the quarry, with Storm catching up.

After the quarry, Storm walked into the house and she found her father in the living room with Weatherbee. She realized in a panic, that she still had her Serpent jacket on.

"So, you have been hanging around town with the Serpents." Her father's voice was full of disappointment, and Storm gulped down fear, but nodded.

"Yeah, dad I have." She said, fighting to keep her voice steady, and he looks at her with a sigh, and then he shook his head at her.

"Take off the jacket." His tone was sharp and it was more like an order or a command now, and she looked at him. "Take it off. Right now. I can't have a daughter who is a Southside Serpent in my house." Fred ordered her and she looked at him.

"I'm not taking it off. I'll stay in the garage, I'll use my own money to buy stuff. But I'm not taking off this jacket, Dad." She said and he looked at her.

"You have been sneaking off during your school time, to hang out with the Serpent gang at Southside High. Do you have an excellent reason for me as to why you shouldn't be expelled from Riverdale High?" Weatherbee asked and she looked at him.

"Because I already graduated from High School last year, in Chicago, and have been taking courses online all year, for a chance to get into a good, no a great, law school program." She says and shakes her head.

"I don't think that there is really importance for anything else for us to talk about here." She said, and walked out of the room without more words.

"Get back here!" Fred calls out after her, but she slammed the front door behind her and grabs a bunch of the power tools, and a few locks from her bag.
