"Ugh, what time is it?" Storm groaned as Archie shakes her hard.
"Time to get up for school, which you are going to today. At least for the first day." Fred insists and although Storm grunted and groaned about it, she did want to see the high school.
Storm walked to school with Betty and Archie, who were both talking the entire way, and Storm sighed at their endless conversation.
"Do you guys have any contact with the Serpents ever?" She asked to see if she could change the subject of entire wastes of time conversations.
"The Southside Serpents? Why ever would you ask a question like that to anyone on this side of the tracks?" A interruption came from a certain red haired girl and Storm growled under her breath.
"I mean, they are so terrible and horrible to their fellow people. They don't deserve to be at all treated like humans like we do. They're animals, like the Serpents on their backs."
Cheryl insisted and Storm looked at her and she slid up her right sleeve of her t-shirt, and there it was. A snake tattoo.
Cheryl backed up and ran down the hallway. Storm smirked slightly and she rolled her sleeve back down, but Archie caught her arm, really quick, before she finished.
"You're a Serpent?" He asked and she shook her head at him, as she pulled a arm out of his grip.
"No, Archie. I'm a fan of the Slytherin House from Harry Potter. It's modeled after the one on their house banner."
She said as then she looked down at her schedule in her hand, and walked into her first class of the day.
She sighed, remembering that she had told Archie it was from Slytherin but a tattoo was permanent, as were, all the stories they told.
She opened her right hand and then immediately clenched it shut when a shadow was cast over her, as Cheryl's poisonous gaze landed on her.
"You're no saint. You're not a real Bulldog and you never will be." She hissed in her right ear savagely, as she walked by, and Storm shrugs at Betty's raised eyebrow.
She pulled out her phone, and typed something on it and Betty looked over to her, when the teacher was looking away.
"Are you okay? She didn't look like a person who was gonna welcome a kid home from being out of town."
Storm shakes her head and looked up to make sure, that the teacher was not looking in her direction.
"I'm okay. She can't say anything to bother me anymore. I dealt with tons of her type in Chicago, she should be a piece of cake to deal with after that."
She pressed send and put her phone back into her pocket, just before she'd hear her name spoken over the entire Speaker System.
"Storm Andrews, please come to the office please. Storm Andrews to the principal's office."
Principal Weatherbee was saying quietly and Storm just let out a low grunt as the bell rang, and she walks towards the Principal's office.
"Hello, Principal Weatherbee. It's been a long time. But it's my first day, did you need something from me sir?"
She asks him politely, and he looks at her, before motioning for her to sit at the desk. "I have a strict policy for the bullying and scare tactic Ms Andrews, and I was hoping that you could have a explanation for me. As to why, Miss. Blossom thinks that you are a Serpent now." Principal Weatherbee asked her as she sat down across from him.
"You mean my tattoo, sir?" She asked as she rolled up her sleeve, exposing a tattoo, the same tattoo as earlier with the Slytherin Crest. "There's been a lot of misconceptions about it. From J.K Rowling's, Harry Potter novels, this is the Slytherin House's crest. Salazar's animal was the serpent, because he had the ability to speak to snakes. The explanation hopefully clears up your suspicions Mr. Weatherbee, sir." She said and he nodded at her.
"Just, keep it covered up please Miss Andrews. I don't need any more of the complaints about you today, on your 1st day back in a Riverdale school."
He said and she shook hands with him, before she was walking out of the Principal's office, and off towards her next class.
Storm jumped when she saw that Jughead was next to her, and he looks at her. "Sorry Tempest." He said with a sly grin, and she shakes her head at him, but there was a smile on her face now.
"What's up, Juggy? Is there something that I can help you with?" She asked a smile on her face still, as she shuts her locker.
"Yeah, actually, I was wondering if you could meet me at Pop's later. As I understand it, you don't like dancing."
He said and Storm chuckled at his correct assumption, and she nodded at him to confirm. "Meet you at Pop's, 5?" She asked and he nods.
"You remember it?" He asked and Storm held up her hand as he did the same.
A high five, thumb war, and a fist bump later they were walking to their own separate classes once again.
"What did Jughead want?" Betty asked, as they both walk home after school together.
"He wants me to meet him at Pop's at 5. He correctly guessed, that I'm not at the dance tonight." Storm says to her, as then Betty was gasping at her.
"I'm going with Archie and with Veronica Lodge. I hope that's okay with you." Betty managed to stammer out to her as Storm just smiled at her.
"You deserve to tell my brother how you feel Betty. I'm not going to tell you to not go tell him. You hit him, in the god damn head if you need to. I'm in for whatever you need." Storm says as she walks up the porch stairs and into her house.
