Start Of A New Day

"Shit!.... I gotta hide before she sees me." I whispered to myself. I started to run deeper into the woods, hoping I wouldn't get caught. I started to hear footsteps coming in fast. I grabbed my sword and prepared myself for what's to come. A tall shadow leaped up and charged at me. I blocked it just in time, only to get kicked in the gut and fall to the ground. The shadow put the sword to neck saying, "Yield! I won this match." I looked at the shadow and said, "Ok. You can take that shadow spell off of you now Tay." "Ohhh come on! I was having fun with it." She said as she cleared the spell off. "Hehe. Not too bad, you're better at sneaking up on your enemy." I said, standing up onto my feet. Tay smirked at me, putting her arm around as she was really happy. "That's a good thing coming from you ms.andria." I looked at her with a crazy look on my face. "Ms.Andria? Where are we? In school?" I said. Tay started to speak," You and Alex seem to be getting along perfectly. You guys really do have a connection." I smiled at her. It's been a few months now since me and Alex became official. Everything between us has never been better. We talk, we laugh, and we have fun. It's also been a few months since Zalor was defeated. I will never forget that moment, the fear in his eyes as he disappeared from existence.

We started walking back to the base. The base was made out of wood with colored glass windows. The symbol of the elemental gods was on the front of the base. We walked in and started to go toward the main chill room. I saw everyone playing cards, practicing their magic, even someone making music. "Oh! You guys are back." a girl's voice said, walking toward us. "Thanks, Brianna. It's nice to have you on the team." Tay said. Bri nodded and walked off back into the room. Bri is one of our new recruits. She's really a tough one to break. Her power can make anyone tell the truth. "Hey baby," Alex said as she walked up to me giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Hey, baby. How was your walk around the woods?" "It was good. By the way, I've been meaning to show you something. Mind if I steal her for a sec Tay?" Tay nodded and said, "Sure. Just don't be too rough with her." She winked at her and gave me a nudge on my shoulder then walked to the main control room. Alex walked me to her room and told me to close my eyes. I closed my eyes and she grabbed my hand, leading me into her room. She told me to wait in a spot while she grabbed something. "Ready baby?" Alex said. I nodded my head and opened my eyes. What I saw was shocking to me. It was a necklace with the symbols of both our powers on it. "B-baby...I...you made this?" I said, looking at her with a nervous smile on my face. "Yeah. Open the locket." I opened the locket and it had a picture of me and Alex smiling. It also had the date of when we first met. "9/23. You remembered our date." She smiled and said, "It's been 2 months since that date. I'll never forget that date. Happy anniversary baby. I love you." I gave her a huge hug, squeezing her gently. She put her hand on my face, turning toward her. "I love you...you know that right?" Alex smirked and gave me a kiss. "I know. I love you too."

The next morning arrived and I was still fast asleep. I felt something wrap around my waist. "Looks like someone is still sound asleep," Alex said, as she shook me gently to wake me up. "And you, my friend, are still up and running from last night," I said to her, smirking at her. "It's still very early, why not just stay here?" Alex said. I shook my head and told her I have to take the new recruits out for training in the forest. "But, you can come with me if you want." She stood up and kissed me on the lips saying, "Alright. Commander." I smiled at her and we both started to get dressed.

"Alright recruits! This way!" I yelled out, as we started to walk deeper into the woods. The recruits followed me deeper into the woods. There's Mae, a man that's funny but also a tough man to beat. He was born with dark magics but has used them for good for the past few years since his parents sent him here to me. Brianna is a girl with the power to make anyone tell the truth. Then there's Ty, with the power of lightning. He's kind of a hothead, but he can put up a fight and help his teammates when in trouble. "Alright. During a fight, always look at your surroundings. You never know if someone gotta come up from behind and shoot y-." My sentence was stopped after Ty had yelled, "Watch out!" I turned around just in time to see a ball of dark light hit my chest so hard, I fell onto the ground. "Commander!" Mae yelled. "Are you alright?!" I started to cough excessively. "Yeah. But what was that?" A ball of dark light started circling around the trees and landing in front of us. A woman in dark grey clothing appears in front of us. She had a white angel symbol on her jacket. We all looked at her confused and some of the recruits were afraid. "You. You're the rainbow Elemental right?" I nodded and said, "Yes. Who are you?" She summoned her angel bow and arrow that was grey and white. "The names Tyliah. And this day...will be your last ." She started to run toward me with her bow and arrow, shooting everyone out of the way. I summoned my sword and blocked her attack until she kicked me onto the ground. She kicked me in the gut so hard, I got knocked into the tree trunk.

"Andria! You stay away from my cousin!" Tay yelled out, as she started blasting Tyliah with her element gun. "Water Attack!" She blocked all her attacks, moving fast with her movements. She fired three arrows at us and they started to explode in everyone's faces, making all of us fall to the ground. Ty tries to make a thunderstorm, but Tyliah uses her angel wings to blow him into the tree, hitting his head and knocking him out cold. "Ty!" Mae yelled out. Tyliah summoned a dark arrow and pulled it back onto her bow, as she was about to shoot it right at all of us. Then there was a strange sensation. It felt like an earthquake shaking the earth. "W-what's happening?" Alex said. I shrugged my shoulders as the ground crack and an opening started to appear. A person started to rise up from the ground. The fire began bursting out from the ground, flames spewing everywhere. As the fire began to die, we started to see who was standing in front of us. It was a girl with one red eye and one brown eye. I tilted my hand in confusion. Alex walked next to me, grabbing my hand and saying she had my back. The girl summoned a devil blade and blasted Tyliah, making her shout in pain and grabbed her hand. I saw Tyliah 's hands and they were burned badly. The girl turned toward us and we all stared in confusion and fear. She looked at us with hatred in her one eye as it glowed red and started talking to us saying, "Do y'all fucking weirdos need help or what?"
