We started to walk downstairs to the main control room and we saw the whole team ready to train. "Greetings commander," Alex said, as she walked and started to stand right next to me. "Everyone, I like you to meet our newest recruit, Octavian." Octo walked in, as he smiled brightly. He had on a black-green cloak with a green shirt. He also had a magic dragon symbol on his chest. "Alright everyone, follow me to the hologram room," I said. Everyone followed me to the holo room, ready to do sparring matches. Bri and Ty were up first. "What's a girl gonna do when I make a...ThunderStorm!" A group of dark clouds surrounds Bri as she summons a purple crossbow. Her eyes turned purple as she blocked all the lightning striking down from the clouds. "You wanna play? Let's play." She ran up to him, slashing at his legs and knocking him to the ground.
As he tried to stand up, she side kicked him into a wall. "Grah! Goddammit!" He tried charging at her with his axe, but Bri jumped over him landing on her feet. She aimed her crossbow at him, shooting a purple truth arrow at his arm. The arrows are harmless so they dissolve inside your body, making you tell the truth for 24 hours. "How did I let a girl beat me?!" Ty yelled. "Maybe because you were fighting in anger, not with your head or heart," Bri said, as she bowed to the rest of the team. "Nice job Bri. Now, who wants to go against me?" I twirled my sword onto my shoulder, looking at everyone's faces. "I'll fight you," Alex said, as she walked up to the stage and summoned her forest spear.
"Alright baby, are you sure about this?" I said to her. My eyes started to look nervous as she said, "Trust me...I'll fight you any time of the day." She finished. I nodded and started to twirl my sword around my body, getting in my defense stance. She started to circle around me staring at me as she twirled her spear. I charged at her and swept her. She jumped over me and spin kicked me in the face, knocking me back into the walls. She smashed her spear onto my sword as I was trying to block her attack. I kicked her in the gut and double slashed her onto the floor. "Heh. Can you beat that?" Alex gets up, spinning her spear into a leaf tornado. "Tornado Slash!" I get hit so hard, my clothes start to get torn.
"Grah! Alright, Alex. I think that e-" She kicked me in the chest, making me fall onto the ground. "Oh...I'm not done with you. Not by a long shot." "Oh shit..." Tay whispered in the back. She tried to walk in, but the holo shield was turned on. "Alex! Open the shield now!" Tay yelled out. Alex started to attack me aggressively. I tried to back away but she slashed my arm, making a huge bleeding gash. "Ahh! A-Alex?" She grabbed my neck and threw me across the hologram room, as I hit the wall hard and fell to the ground. Tay started to freak out. "Bri! I need your help to hack the system to get her out of there! Hurry!" Bri nodded and ran into the main hologram system. "This is easy to hack! I can break the barrier!" Bri starts hacking the system, as the rest of the team try to break the barrier. Alex grabs my shirt collar and powers punch me into a pillar. My lip starts to bleed and I have a bloody bruise on my cheek.
She continues to rapid punch my gut, making me fall to the ground and try to catch my breath. She lifts me back onto my feet, punching my face again over and over. I tried to punch her back but she grabbed my arm, breaking the elbow joint of my arm. "AHHHH!" Tay's eyes started to grow wider. "Come on Bri! She's gonna kill her!" Alex pushed me to the middle of the room and started to charge up her spear. Blood spills from my mouth as I stand on my feet saying, "A-Alex...w-why..p-please...don't d-do this.." Alex had sadness and anger in her eyes as she said these words, "I'm sorry baby, but..I have..to.. I-I c-cant..control...her..darkness...! Dark Forest Slash!" A big line of dark magic flew across the room, slashing through my chest making a huge gash. Blood spills from the gash, making me feel dizzy. I fall to the ground, landing onto my back. "Done!" Bri yelled. Tyliah and Naomi ran in and grabbed Alex by her arms, throwing her into a wall and knocking her out cold. Tay, Bri, and Octo started to run up to me, as I started to gag up blood. "We need medics! Hang on, commander!" I start to cough up
blood and my body started to become weak. "I-I'm so sorry...I've..should..have..listen..to..you...Tay..." Tyliah and Naomi run up to me. "Oh my god..." Tyliah said, as she got on her knees and put her hand on Octo's shoulder. Everyone had tears in their eyes. Tay grabbed my hand tightly, crying as she started to speak. "It's not your fault...Stay with us okay? You're not leaving me ...right?" She cried. My head started to feel dizzy and weak. But before I could answer, my eyes started to get heavy and I passed out. Tay shook my body to see if I would wake up. "Dri...? No...Dri please wake up! Don't die on us please!" Tyliah pulled Tay into a tight hug, as she cried on her shoulder. "Where the fuck is the gurney?!" She yelled and when she said that, the medics arrived. Naomi had tears in her eyes as she picked my body up and placed me on the gurney. My vision was fuzzy and my ears were buzzing. The last thing I heard from everyone was their cries. Calling out to me, praying for me to be okay. Stay with us kid.....Don't let go Andria....We got you, commander...I love you cousin...Please don't leave me...
