It's been a week now. Knowing that we caused them to be taken away from us...I'm gonna get them back...just gotta figure out this key. I'm outside on the patio, looking at the night sky thinking about how to get our friends back. Sighing and hitting myself over in the head, thinking how stupid I sound. I walked back into the room where everyone was waiting. Everybody started to stare at me. Some had tears coming out of their eyes, some showed no emotion and just stayed...quiet, and some of them...were looking at me; with anger in their eyes as they started to ball their fists. Out comes Bri, Octo, and Tyliah just staring at me. Tyliah was holding her shoulder as she had a bandage around her forehead.
"So...now what? Our leaders are gone, our top crew is injured, not to mention we're outnumbered at this point..." Mae said. I just looked down at the ground and tried to walk away until he continued, "And it's all your fault...demon child..." I stopped and turned back looking at him saying, "Excuse me...? Say that again?" "I said...it's your fault...you were there the whole time..and you couldn't save one of them?!" Bri and Octo stood up from their chairs walking toward me and Mae as he continued. "You think they would leave you in charge? When...you could be the bad guy?" I stood there in fear as I started to remember myself as a child. My father was sitting on his throne with one of his human "toys" he called it. He would torture the guys by burning their flesh or cutting his bodies with fire knives. As for the women...well...let's just say it wasn't a pretty sight to watch.
He made his demons chain them to walls and rape them, without stopping. What's worse, demons don't take breaks. They could go on for hours, days, even years. So, the women wouldn't be able to die...therefore...they would have to feel the same pain over and over. He would look at me saying things like, "One day...all this could be yours. You could have ultimate power and take over the human world. Destroy all that is good. All you have to do...is join me. Help me make our dream...a reality." I shook my head and appeared back in the room, with Mae still yelling at me. "All you newbies do is stand there! No wonder your father never loved you...you...you...stupid devil bitch!" He spin kicked me to the ground as Bri and Octo grabbed him and held him back. "Would you calm down Mae?! All this yelling won't help us get them back!" Octo yelled. My head started to throb as I saw Mae punched Octo and Bri to the ground and summoned his gun to point at Tyliah. "I knew you were nothing but trouble...I'll just have to kill you as well..." My heart was beating extremely fast as I got up and yelled out, "No!" But when I did, everyone stopped. When I mean everyone stopped, everything was frozen in place. "The fuck just happened?" I said to myself. "You paused time...you unlocked a new power." A strange voice said. A white figure appeared in front of me. "W-Who the hell are you?" I said to them. "You don't need to know who I am. What matters is you need to save your friends." I looked confused, "But how? I couldn't even save the angels...wh-" I paused in the middle of my sentence and then said, "Why am I a devil...when I know...i'm good?" The figure said to me that just because I was born to the most evil master on earth...doesn't mean I'm evil. "Now go...save your friends...and your people.."
I open my eyes, only to see Tyliah being held at gunpoint. My body began to feel hot. I felt a burning rage of fire inside my soul. "You're not hurting them!" I yelled at Mae. A red aura began to cover me, as sharp horns began to come out of the top of my head. My teeth became sharp and pointy, and a red tail appeared behind me. "W-What the? Is this...my dad's power?" They all stared at me, but Mae started firing at me. I grabbed the bullets out of thin air. I crushed them with my own hands. I smirked and walked up to Mae, grabbing his gun and breaking it into dust. "I want you...to leave...and never come back." I grabbed him by the neck and dragged him outside, throwing him into a tree. "You'll thank me! The end is near! Our world and the human world is doomed! I know they're plans!"
I looked away and walked back into the base as my body went into its normal state. I felt a little lightheaded and began to stumble until Octo caught me from the wall. "So now what? We got no leads on where their base is." Tyliah said, "They erased my memory on where the base is." Something felt strange as I reached for my pocket. "It's her key," I said. Bri looked at it. "She told me that she had made a video. And we only watch if something ever happened to them. I know the code to watch it. Come on !" She yelled as we all ran to the video room and turned on the video.
"Members of the Elementalist, if you're listening to this that means something has happened to both of your commanders." They sighed and continued to speak. "If...in any emergency where that scenario would happen, there will be a signal. You should have a key...with a special writing that only a certain amount of people can read. The box that goes with that key is in our room. If you found the key...that means you know the password." Tay began to speak, "We are leaving Bri and Naomi in charge. You must find the plan in the box in order to find out how to get us back. We believe in you guys...good luck."
The video ends and the key begins to shine a light toward their room. "Come on! It's in here!" I yelled out and ran into their room without hesitation. We looked around their room until, "Guys...i found it..." said Bri. I ran over there and grabbed the black box with all the elemental symbols across the front. "This is it..." I stared at it for a while. I put the key in the lock and opened it. When I opened it, a note appeared inside along with a special necklace. "A note. Odd." Said Octo. I unfolded the note and started to read what it said, but some of the words were scratched off.
Dear Andria and Tay,
I don't have much time to write this. They are coming for me. I managed to hide...but I won't be able to hide for long. If you're reading this, that means you figured it out. You have my elemental gene...you have powers...but that also means...I wasn't there to teach how to use them properly. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused. I put you two in danger from the day you were born...also...if you're reading this...that means you don't know the whole truth, meaning you'll need the necklace to help you location a special friend of mine...all will be revealed once you get there...I don't have the time to continue...so this is it for me...just know...I loved you both...my beautiful and talented.....I'm sorry if I wasn't there for you two as you grew up...You'll always be in my heart...and I'll watch over you... Love, .....
"Some of the words are black. I can't read them clearly. But it said we use the necklace to find someone he knows." Everyone nodded and went to go get their gear ready. Once we were ready, we went outside and started walking toward the forest. I held the necklace in my hand and stared at the crystal in the middle of it. "Now, how the hell does this work?" I asked. Bri looked at it and started to stare at it as well. It started to glow really bright and shot a light into the sky, blinding us for a few seconds and making us fall backwards onto the ground . As the light died down, sparks of golden shards floated down from the sky to the ground. "Wow...they're beautiful." Octo said. Tyliah nodded and opened her hand, laying the shards fall onto her hand. They started to line up on the ground almost as if they were creating a path. "Holy..." We all got up and saw the sparks make a clear path on where to go. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go save our friends."
