It's the dawn of morning. The sun shines through the cell window as I practice punching the wall. I see Tay, still sound asleep. "Hmm...I wonder what he's telling you." I said to myself as I continued to punch the wall. I heard a loud crack of a metal door opening. I saw Emmet and Cheyenne appear in front of my cell, smiling. "Today is the day, Andria. Soon, the gate of the dark world will open...and I will be a god." I shook my head in disgust. I looked at her and said, "You think...after all this time...nearly killing me...turning my friend against me...capturing me...was gonna turn you into a god?" I laughed at her as I finished my sentences. "You...will never be a god..and you Emmet...I know you're in there somewhere. Snap out of her control." Emmet looked at me confused but with a depressed look on my face. "Turn on the knockout gas." Cheyenne commanded Emmet. He nodded and turned on the gas.
I felt an itch in my throat as I began to cough. I fell to my knees and my vision went blurry. I tried to fight it but I couldn't. Everything went black as I felt a sharp pain in my head. I heard voices and suddenly, I began to move. When I woke up again, I was cuffed to a sheet of metal. My hand and ankles were locked in place and when I looked around, I saw Tay was the same way. She woke up and she was terrified. "Gah!" She yelled. "Tay! Calm down!" I said to her as she looked at me with confused but happy eyes. "You're my sister...we were family all along..." She said. I nodded and before I could say anything else, She appeared in front of us. "Well. It seems you're awake." I tried to break the buckles off me, but I couldn't.
"Emmet. Get the vial ready in its place. I want every last drop..." She said as Emmet agreed and went off. I looked up and saw a circle reactor on top of us. "That reactor will shoot a beam of anti-element, which will suck all your power into this vial...which at that point, I will drink it...and become the most powerful being in the world. And...when the guardian angels power is gone..." She stopped as I finished the sentence. "The balance of the Elemental Plane and The Dark Plane will be completely destroyed." She nodded and commanded the rest of her soldiers to start setting up the power levels.
I looked at two of the soldiers. It was Alex and Emmet, coming back with the large and metal vial. "Yes. Now, hook it up to the reactor. Time is running out." She yelled as they listened to her orders. Alex and Emmet walked up to me and Tay, looking at us with depressed looks all over their faces. "I loved you guys...we were family...please come back to us." Emmet looked at Tay, seeing her chained up and angry. Tay's eyes started to water as she looked at both of them. She didn't say a word.
Alex and Emmet walked away but before they got far, I started to breathe very heavily and my eyes began to glow waves of color. I looked at them as I yelled, "Alex! Emmet! I know you guys are still in there! If you really loved us, then you would let us go!" I yelled and they turned back around. Both of their eyes began to blink really fast and they fell back onto their knees. When they looked up, both of their faces went completely blank. Cheyenne came from behind and went to the reactor panel. "Hehe. Now, It's time.." Alex saw her reach for the button and summoned her spear, slashing Cheyenne away from the panel. Emmet grabbed Cheyenne by the neck, holding her in a headlock. "Get the girls! Now!" He yelled. Alex tried to unbuckle the chains but before she could, Cheyenne used her dark fire magic and blasted Alex in the back of her spine. "GRAHH!" She yelled and fell onto the floor.
"Alex!" I cried. Cheyenne lifts Emmet over her shoulder and punches him dead in the gut. "Should've known they would turn back." She mumbled and went to the panel, slamming the button and turning on the panel. The beam began to power up and after a few secs...the beam shot down toward me and Tay. I screamed to the top of my lungs as the magic was leaving my body. Tay and I were shaking, trying to break out of the chains...but we couldn't. The vial began to fill up with our magic. Cheyenne gave us a smirk as she watched us scream. Our bodies were weakening and started to have burn marks. As the beam went off, we stopped and fell back into the sheet. Tay was unconscious and I couldn't reach my hand out to get her to wake up. I felt myself becoming dizzy and all I saw was Cheyenne, grabbing the vial and drinking it. I fell asleep into a dark abyss...we..have lost.
