It's been a stressful day. My team is doubting themselves, evil sorcerers wanting to kill Tay and I, not to mention I'm still heartbroken over Alex betraying all of us. What am I supposed to do? Sit here and wait until something happens? I'm lost...and we need help. I thought to myself as I'm in the shower. It's late at night The water is sprinkling down my face with my eyes closed, standing with water flowing down my back. "Knock Knock. Everything okay in there Dri?" Tay yelled through the door. "Yeah. Everything is fine." I yelled back. I finished my shower and turned the water off as I grabbed my towel and wrapped myself with it. I looked at myself in the mirror, thinking about all the things that have happened. "Alex! Stop! You gonna kill her!" I keep hearing voices, voices of bad things repeating in my head over and over. "I got you Dri...Please don't die on me..." "T-Tay's...cries..." I said quietly. I felt sick to my stomach holding my chest, trying to hold back from vomiting. Then the smell of blood came in my mind and I started to gag. I ran to the toilet and started to vomit excessively.
"Is everything okay in there, commander?" Tyliah said. "Yeah, everything is fine." I rinsed out my mouth, started to put my clothes on and walked out into my room. "Looks like someone is still sick," Tyliah said. "Sorry, just a lot on my mind." Tyliah smirked at me, "Yeah, I know that feeling. Your pride has been damaged. You feel like no one loves you and they just want to use you for their own being." I looked at her surprised. "H-how did you...?" She chuckled a bit, "I have the power to read people's thoughts. And... I kinda feel the same way. Naomi and I had a fight...she got mad...I don't know what happened." I walked to her. "Well, I'm sure you two will work it out." "But, what if she doesn't? I'll be alone." I looked at her with sadness in my eyes. I sat next to her saying, "I was just like you. I may be human but people hated me...they bullied me...no one was there for me...to save me...I thought I was alone...until I got here. She's out there. Waiting for you." She looked at me. "You really think so?" I put my hand on her shoulder, "I know so."
We both smiled. "Come on, everyone is waiting outside." We walked outside toward our campsite. "Commander. We have everything we need for our plan tomorrow. Weapons, elemental guns, and extra food for tonight. Do you think that's all? One of my soldiers said. "Yes. We have everything. Now start the fire and make food for everyone please." They nodded and went to go start the fire. I walked over where Octo, Bri, Tyliah, Naomi, and Tay were sitting at. "Greetings commander. How do you feel?" Bri said. "Feeling better. How's everything going since I was gone?" I said to Tay. "Everyone is ready for tomorrow. This plan could work. But Cheyenne is smart. We have to be careful." I nodded as we all walked toward the campfire. We saw everyone eating food and making sores. "Alright, since this may be our last day, anyone wanna ask questions? Get to know one another."
"Hmm. That's actually a good idea. Everyone asks a question. Who's first?" I said. Everyone looked at each other with curiosity in their eyes. One guy raised their hand. "What is your favorite food?" he asked everyone. Some people said pizza (obviously), others said fruit, wings, seafood, fish, etc. "Alright, the funniest thing to watch." A girl asked. "Spongebob," Octo said. We all looked at him as we started to laugh and he laughed as well. The question kept going on. There were silly questions like, favorite funny video, the most stupid thing you did as a kid, or what's the spiciest thing you ever ate, etc. Then someone asked the question, "How does it feel...knowing that tomorrow may be our last day here...what if this plan of yours doesn't work...do we all die because of it?" I looked at the ground, sighing at the fact that she may be right... "Well...at least we tried. That's all that matters at this point. We try to do what's right. There is no backing down. We stand and fight for each other. That's what we do. I..no...we can save ourselves...if we just try. See? We can overcome anything we put our powers to. Everyone has strength. But, everyone has a weakness. No one is a god. We're just human...with freakish powers. Now, if you think you are a god, then I suggest you leave this campsite right now. No one is better than the other. You either be a hero...or live long enough to be a villain..."
Everyone sat at the fire, quietly. After a few hours, everyone went to sleep. I stood up onto the tree to watch the night sky. I looked at everyone else sleeping. I started to jump up and climb the tree to the top. I stood up to feel the fresh air in the clouds. I closed my eyes, thinking about all the things that might happen during this plan. I could die...this plan is risky...we don't know Cheyenne's weakness...but we know she has one. Just gotta find an opening.... I looked up at the moon that was shining down on the forest. My eyes began to glow white as I smirked at the thought of happiness. Everything was so peaceful and quiet. My eyes went normal as I jumped down and went to my sleep area. As I closed my eyes, I began to think in my head. This is our last day...we have to win...if not...then...we're as good as dead.
