- a few days later -

"I KNEW IT!!" Y/n shouted in pure excitement.

Sarah laughs.

"You know I knew there was something going on between you two. You are always together. Ahhh you are literally the cutest couple ever!" Y/n gushes, jumping up and down in excitement.

She looks at the two in front of her.

Katherine grabs Sarah's hand and blushes.

Y/n smiles at the two.

The three of them walk down the streets together.

Y/n tells them a ridiculous story causing them to laugh.

They swing there hands as they walk. Y/n notices this.

"Ahh stop it! I can't take your couplyness!"

(Are you surprised? Tehehehe I know! Literally cutest couple, I can't.)

~

"Alright, bye girls! I'll see you later. Love you!" Y/n shouts as the girls walk off. They turn around and the three blow a bunch of dramatic kisses to each other.

Y/n giggles and walks into the lodging house.

"Hey boys!"

"Hey y/n."

The girl walks upstairs. It's late and she is incredibly exhausted.

Why? Oh well you see,

Davey had jokingly made a bet and told her that she wouldn't walk over and take this mans hat.

Y/n, being y/n, of course took on that challenge.

This, caused the two of them to be chased by the bulls.

Y/n thinks about the events that occurred earlier that day, laughing to herself.

- flashback -

"Run!" Davey yells grabbing y/n's hand. She giggles, allowing the boy to drag her through the crowd.

The two laugh as they weave through the people, turning the corner.

Davey then realized she was still holding the hat.

He starting laughing harder. Tears flowing out of his eyes.

"Why do you still have it!" He shouts, practically wheezing.

She giggles.

"I don't know! Hey, this was your idea!" She laughs.

"I didn't expect you to actually do it- this way come on!" He turns down and alley and the two duck behind some crates.

They hold their breath as they hear a group of footsteps slow down towards the opening of the alley. The footsteps stop for a second before running off into the other direction.

They let out a relieved sigh.

They start laughing again.

"You owe me a dime Davey boy." She whispers, smirking at the boy.

He playfully roles his eyes and reaches in his pocket.

He places the dime in her hand and smiles at her.

She places it in her pocket and looks up at him.

Suddenly something catches her eye.

She looks behind the boy, noticing a single piece of paper laying in a puddle.

He turns to look at what she's looking at.

She slowly gets up and walks over to it.

She leans down and picks it up.

"Y/n what is it-" Davey asks walking over to her. He tries to look over her shoulder at the paper she's holding.

She puts her hand over her mouth.

"Oh my god-" her shaky voice rings through the air-

"Hey y/n! Whatcha doin?"

The voice brings her out of her thoughts.

A single tear falls from her eye.

She shakes her head a little. She realizes she was at the sink; the water was running.

"Hey Racer!" She puts on a fake smile.

He snakes his arms around her from behind and resting his head on her shoulder.

"Everythin okay?" He asks, concern evident in his voice.

"Yeah! I was just washing my face. I had a long day-" She says trailing off at the end.

"Oh okay. You should prolly get some rest. Youse lookin a bit pale dere (there)." He pulls away and puts the back of his hand to her face, checking her temperature.

"Y-yeah youse probably right." She says, tears brimming the edges of her eyes. She tries her best to hold it in.

Once he leaves she lets them fall.

With the excitement from the girls, she had forgotten all about what had happened.

How could I forget?

She slowly makes her way to her bed, taking off her clothes. She grabs a piece of paper from her pocket. One she had shoved in there just a few hours before.

She crawls up into her bed and sits there. Her legs crossed.

She stares at the paper for a few seconds before slowly unfolding it.

"Y/n are you okay? What is it?" He asks concerned.

She drops the paper, frozen in shock.

Davey reaches down and picks up the paper.

"What the hell is this?" He asks, his eyes widening.

A missing persons poster.

With a big picture of a young y/n right in the middle.

"Y/n l/n, age 16, last seen over 3 years ago..." Davey reads it allowed. He looks up at the girl, "y/n what is this?"

She stands in shock.

It's been so long.

Why were they still looking for her.

She thought they would forget.

How did they not forget about her?

"There is something I didn't tell you all." She says just above a whisper, not moving from her spot.

He looks at her confused.

"Something about my past."
