Mackenzie's perspective The halls of the Academy are rustling with life as everyone is racing around the school to revisit their friends after a 2 week break luckily I, Kenzie had come a lot earlier in the day and so had my friends so that we could all see each other and go to our dorm rooms from last year before everyone else came. I am currently sitting on my bed in my dorm with my best friends Lauren Orlando, Nadia Turner, Emily Skinner and Annie Leblanc, we all met on the first day of collage and instantly became friends yet through the two years that we have spent here at Bella Academy we have all made one or two enemies along the way but we all have each other!
Let me fill you in on the tea at our school for starters I and all of my friends are in the same grade ( grade 9 with Miss O'Connor) yet unfortunately in my class we share it with the cross team of boys which in my opinion isn't very nice as they always come in late and sweaty though pretty much all the other girls adore the boys especially Johnny Orlando, Lauren's brother which I kinda hate. He's an absolute player and so many girls fall for him such as Lily Chee I don't like her either nor does she to me but she is currently dating him but I don't care as I fully gave up boys over 5 years ago so that I could believe in women's rights like not being forced into marriage and the only way I could do that is if I was a strong independent woman which I am now.

As all of our friends had walked ahead of us me and Lauren took our time as we were already half an hour early neither of us knew what they were rushing about so we simply minded our own business until we reached the main hall where surprisingly everyone was then we both realised everyone's was crowding around the cross team, nearly every boy on the team had two girls under their arms except for Johnny who was just with his girlfriend Lily I roll my eyes as she is all over him then she glanced over at me a smirked so I simply mimicked her movement then walked pass the crowd followed by Lauren to our home room where we now for some reason we do all of our classes in with Miss O'Connor. I always sit at the second table from the bottom on the end next to all my friends yet behind me is the one and only Johnny Orlando though surprisingly he doesn't cheat and look at my work, to be honest I have no clue why he always chooses to sit there. We are currently 20 minutes into the first lesson of the day when the door swings open revealing a very eager Coach Dugley I see all of the boys faces light up as it was time for practice, soon enough all the boys in the class room were lined up behind the doorway now looking just as eager as Coach Dugley they all start chanting some school slogan while I blink while rolling my eyes, Miss O'Connor had noticed my silent remark and gave a slight chuckle then continued on with the next two lessons before all of the girls organised their books then filed out of the door at their own pace then returned to their dorms then out to the food court to collect their morning tea. I and my friends followed that routine every day and eventually once we got our morning tea we would walk down a secretive path to the gardens that was owned by my parents so it was okay to be there when others weren't. We had only been sitting down in the gardens for 5 minutes when I heard in the distance raised voices, I instantly knew it was apart of a fight but the voices sounded familiar but I shrugged it off the joined in with Annie and Emily's conversation about the head master.
Now half an hour later we are all back in class with the boys joining us again though instead of Lily sitting next to Johnny she sat a the other side of the class room, I was quite puzzled but once again shrugged it off... All of our lessons for the day had come to an end and now we had all returned to our dorm rooms!
Lauren's point of view Me and all my friends were now sitting in our dorm just either talking or reading; I and Nadia were laughing on my bed and talking, Emily was sitting on the window sill reading while Annie and Kenzie were sitting with Ruby ( Nadia's little sister) on Kenzie's bed happily talking and doing one another's hair when there was a sudden knock at the door, Kenzie was the one to hop off her iron bed and pull open the door to reveal my brother Johnny looking tired and like he was about to cry, I was just as shocked to see him in this state as much as Kenzie. Within a second Kenz gestured him to come in and as he sat down across from me on my bed everyone else slowly walked out the room. John waited until all of the girls had exited the room then he turned to face me and I saw a small tear escape his green eyes then the words he dreaded were released from his mouth and my eyes widened...
