CHAPTER 26

Jealous

Your Point of view.

It's the first day of the resume of our dance practice. We started the day with our usual work out, stretches then we review the steps one at a time fixedly. I slept for two hours only and now I'm fighting my drowsiness.

Currently we are heading to the cafeteria to eat lunch and be back inside of the room after that. I'm with Cai Jing, Minho Felix and Hyunjin and speaking of Hyunjin, he is not my partner but our eyes meet frequently during practice and it's making me timid to move. I don't know why he acts very normal like nothing confession happened yesterday. Things between us are quite awkward or am I the only one who feels awkward?

I guess I should be not awkward around him and acts normal as well, right? Right! Why you should be feeling uncomfortable, Y/n? Goodness! I hope I can do it. I hope it's easy to do as it's easy to say.

We get our food and starts to eat silently when out of a sudden Felix put some potatoes on my plate. He still remembers that I really love potatoes. "I know you love that." He beamed. I just faintly rolled my eyeballs and slightly grins, "Tss. Thanks."

"How did you know that?" Minho asked Felix curiously. Felix just shrugged.

I ate Felix's potatoes but then felt Hyunjin's eyes were staring at me so I glimpse at him, he was emotionlessly chewing his food, still staring at me.

I swiftly shift my sight to my food when I heard him says, "Then take mine as well."

My eyes lit up when he put all of his potatoes on my plate. I looked at him and saw his lip curved and flashed his eyebrows at me. When Minho pull off my attention to him as he spoke,

"You can have mine too." He smiles brightly at me.

I did not protest since they just voluntarily put the sliced potatos on my plate. "Uh Thanks, guys." I awkwardly muttered and smiled then looked at my plate full of potatoes.

I heard Cai Jing giggles and teases me, she offered me her potatoes but I refused it since I cannot handle eating her potatoes anymore.

After we ate our lunch we went back inside the practice room. Then the staffs told us that practice will be continued in 30 minutes so we had a time to take a rest for a while. Then after 30 minutes we go back to the part where we stopped earlier and proceed to the refining of steps and the choreographer dismissed us 4 pm to rest.

Second day of practice, we went to the venue where SDF is going to be held at. Nanji Hangang Park. We arrived at the venue 7 am in the morning and right away started our staging of our performance from beginning to the end and we finished it in just one and a half hour. We stayed there for fifteen minutes to rest and take a look around and then we went back to JYP Entertainment building.

We gathered first inside the huge dance studio, the staffs announced us to change our clothes into comfortable ones and have a rest because we will perform in front of JYP to do the critique in next ten minutes.

Minutes passed and JYP enters the studio with the dance choreographer. We greeted him and greets us back blankly, that expression makes me nervous as usual. He talked no more and asked us to show to him the final and fixed performance.

Before the music cued in, Minho whispers to me, "Don't be nervous, you got this." I did not know my face is very transparent for him to notice I am nervous. I just stared at him and show him a smile. "Thanks."
