SORRY

"We are here" Namjoon said slowly on seeing their bunny asleep on the bed.

"Ohh! He slept while waiting for you guys." Seokjin responded.

Suga and Seokjin told them about his condition and also about how the other person was in coma. After that they took their leave and left for their homes.

Namjoon and Hoseok went outside to meet the doctor, leaving Mr. Jeon, Jimin and Taehyung with Jungkook.

"We got to know about the other patient's condition." Namjoon spoke with the doctor.

"Ah! He is in coma and doesn't seem like he will be back to life soon. His condition is stable but he isn't responding. Maybe if a family member tries then-"

"But we don't know who he is!"

"I know. Let's see what happens. But are you going to keep him here only? What if media traces? It'll be a mess." Doctor asked concerned, because it was not a public hospital.

"We have to discuss it with Mr. Jeon. We will inform you about it." Hoseok said.

Both then went inside the patient's room and took a look at him. He was all bandaged and his heartbeat was a bit irregular as well. Not a single movement was witnessed by them.

After taking a look, they came back to Jungkook's room and saw Jimin and Taehyung helping kookie to sit straight.

"Did we disturb your sleep?" Taehyung asked.

Jungkook didn't spoke anything. Instead, he kept looking at his father, trying to match his level of seriousness.

Namjoon understood the silence and gestured everyone to step outside the room. Everyone got his message and followed him, leaving the father-son duo alone.

"I..I'm..no amount of sorry can forgive me dad. But still I'm re..really sorry for causing you troubles." Jungkook spoke.

"Why are you being sorry! It's my fault for forcing my thoughts on you. I could've just listened to your perspective but I was acting stubborn."

"Dad! Stubborn was me. I could've just sat with you to discuss, rather than leaving the house-"

"Shut up! You are saying sorry but not listening to me again."

"Oh! Sorry dad."

"This punk keeps apologising. Why are you so kind?"

"Maybe I'm like you. I can fight with you, irritate you but can't leave you like her."

Mr. Jeon's eyes widened on the word HER. He kept his gaze low and didn't utter a word. Jungkook realised that he probably made him more upset and initiated the conversation again.

"I've made a decision dad."

"Good for you, son!"

"Won't you ask? Aren't you curious?"

"I'll accept your dreams. No matter if you are willing to become an Idol. Just do whatever makes you happy."

"I want to join our company."

There was a silence. His father wasn't able to process what his son just said.

"You are saying this out of pressure son. Look, I'm not angry on you. Just follow your dreams."

"Dad, no. First listen to what I'm saying. You wanted me to take over the company because I was your son. Wouldn't it be better if I work as an employee first and if I'm capable of handling a company, only then you choose me?"

"When did my child started thinking so big?"

Jungkook gave a little laugh and scratched the nape of his neck.
