PAINFUL LOVE (on hold)

CONFESSION

"KEN" you screamed and fell down.

"Y/N" Both brothers shouted and Jungkook came to held you up.

"No! This can't be. Ho..how is h..he here? Why did th..this happen? What is happ..happening? What-" You were jinxing everything, trying to figure ot everything.

"What happened Y/N? Is this your brother about whom you were talking earlier?" Jungkook cupped your face and asked with utmost fear.

You simply nodded and tears rushed down your face. He became shocked upon this revelation and his vision started to get blurr.

All of the pain came back to him when he finally found about the identity of the patient. He was shocked and scared. But his pain was nothing as compared to you and your past. He simply hugged you tighter, protecting you in his warm embrace.

Time passed and your sobs became lighter. You detatched yourself from him upon witnessing the situation in a better manner. Though it was quite difficult for you to believe this scenario and you were desperately wishing all of this to vanish like a dream, but it indeed was the bitter reality.

You got up and sat besides Ken, holding his hand in yours and looking at his condition.

"I'm really sorry Y/N, I..it wasn't my intent to harm him. I'm sor..sorry!" Jungkook was telling you while crying but you didn't respond to him.

"But how is he here? I mean, you told us that he is vacationing in Sweden." Junghyun asked you.

"Even I'm shocked about this. I never knew that he was here. He never told me and I can't possibly think of any reason due to which he would lie to me." You replied with sorrow in your voice.

"I mustn't make conclusions but I think there is more to your past." Junghyun spoke.

"Wh..why do you think this?"

"As per your story that your step-brother i.e Ken, was your only family and he probably never lied to you then this lie must have something really important behind it. But, I'm not saying that it's about you. It could be related to him!"

"For that to get confirmed, he needs to wake up and you said that it's been a long time and he didn't even flinch." You said nervously.

"He will! Since you're here, I'm sure he will wake up. Just try to make your presence known and motivate him. I know you can do it Y/N!" Junghyun patted your back and stood besides you.

You held Ken's hand and started stroking it lightly. Nothing was under your control and you had only one option, that was to talk to him and make him aware that his sister was with him.

You told him stories from your childhood, about your stupid Jokes and everything that hovered inside your mind but nothing happened. He wasn't even opening his eyes.

Soon you turned around only to find Junghyun sitting on the bench, alone.

"Wh..where is Jungkook?"

"He already left. It's been almost half an hour."

You suddenly felt sad. You wanted him to stay with you at that crucial moment but instead he went away. Then you remembered not responding to him and felt bad. A small tear drop escaped your eyes and you decided to go back to meet him.

|Back at mansion|

"You should go and take rest. I know it's really hard for you now but I believe that he will wake up, for you." Junghyun told you and went inside his room, leaving you standing alone in the hallway.

You wanted to meet Jungkook and say sorry to him for being a little bit rude to him so you hurried to his room. But to your dismay, he wasn't there. You became worried as you thought that he might not have returned home.

You searched all the rooms, pantry and garden but he was nowhere to be found. Then you asked the servant about him and he told you that he saw him going towards the gym.

You quickened your steps and opened the door only to be met by darkness. The lights were off and the little visibility was due to the sunlight peeking from the window.

Jungkook POV

"Oo..Y/N?" I said as I stood up while wiping my tears.

She was looking pale and I knew why. She was approaching towards me and I was standing still with my head dropped low.

"Why did you leave?" She asked me with an angry voice.

"I'm really sorry Y/N, I never meant to hurt your brother. It wasn't intentional. But still, I know that I'm the reason behind your brother's condition and it is all my fault. Only if I hadn't rushed outside that day then none of this would have happened. I'm at fault and I'm guilty for all this. I know that a sorry isn't enough but I'm really sorry. You can punish me the way you want. If you don't want to talk to me then I understand. I'm..Y/N, I'm-"

She cut me off by hugging me. Since she was short so her head was placed directly over my heart and my heart was pounding like a beast. I was full of tears and my nose was watery. She hugged me even tighter indicating me to do the same.

"Why are you saying things on your own? Did I tell you that I'm going to put you behind bars? Huh? I know what happened wasn't intentional. Though I'm somewhat mad at you for hurting him but it's quite less as compared to the care that you have shown towards him. If not you, I can't even imagine what could have happened to him. You took care of him, paid regular visit to him, didn't lose hope of him surviving and everything. I'm so glad that it was you. So don't assume things on your own."

I wasn't able to believe this girl. She was doing some kind of magic on me and I just stood still.

"But I'm still sorry. I am aware about your past and now this, you must've been quite hurt."

"Shattered! I love my brother and seeing him like this just makes me numb."

She didn't said anything after that and I too kept quiet. She was snuggling deep into my embrace and I was holding her more tight. I was also in pain but this moment was amazing. She was willingly doing it and I felt happy.

"But you shouldn't have left early. On one hand you say that you want to be my boyfriend and on the other hand, you don't even know the basic things that a guy must do." She suddenly said breaking the hug and looking at me.

"So..so..you are saying that..your answer is this..you want?" I stuttered because it was so sudden.

She held my face in her hands and tried getting on her toes. Once she stabilised herself, she leaned while closing her eyes and kissed me.

She kissed me like I kissed her back then. But this was full of love. I moved my lips in sync with her and deepened it. Our eyes were closed yet everything was visible to us. Us and the love in between.

Slowly we detatched to breathe and connected our heads. I could see her blushed face and fluttering eyes. To avoid her leave, I hugged her again and caressed her hair. The moment was beautiful and I wanted it to last forever but it didn't happen.

"Jungkook..I think don't like you!" She said and my smile faded.

"Instead, I love you! I love you Jungkook!"

"Damnn! You gave me a heart attack Y/N! I love you too, Y/N! I love you 3000"
