ESCAPE

Two days had already passed and Y/N, like always was encountered with some harsh blows and curses from her beloved mother and stepfather.

Only a day was left after which she will leave, more like escape! It was quite tough for her but she had to go forward with the plan.

She wanted to tell Ken about this but he wasn't picking up his phone. With the thought that he might be avoiding calls due to expensive charges or because of continuous travelling, she didn't call him but rather decided to text him.

Y/N: Hello brother! Hope you have arrived safely and are enjoying your stay in Sydney. I tried calling you but I guess you are busy due to the travel and stuff like that.

She put her phone on charging and started packing the left items in her suitcase. She had her flight at 6 in the morning so she had to get ready by 4 am.

After packing, she went down to have dinner with her parents. Like always, Y/N was almost invisible to them so she ate her dinner quietly with her mind completely in a chaos.

Her expressions were depicting stress and bewilderment. Jack, her stepfather noticed it and asked her about it.

"What's with your mood? Though I don't give a damn but I can't see such tension over the dining table. It destroys my mental peace!"

"Destroys your mental peace? She imitated.
"Does giving me pain and behaving brutally gives you your peace then?"

"Why can't you zip up your bloody mouth?" Her mother asked.

"Why should I? Am I at the wrong? I didn't cause you any troubles but still you kept hovering over me, every damn time." She said in a flat yet disturbing voice.

"Well I've to leave for Canada, early morning tomorrow. I don't want to engage in this bullshit and waste my energy." He said.

"Honey! You didn't tell me about it. At what time do you have to leave?"

"I'll leave at 5 so get me up by 4."

"Fine then. Let's sleep early."

Both engaged in their conversation, leaving you dangling with your question and feelings.

While you were going back to your room, you realised that your leaving time will clash with his waking up one. This might severely affect your plan and if you get caught, even God doesn't know what might happen.

This made you week and scared. You did wanted to leave quietly but now there was a huge problem.

Finally you reached your room and saw notification on your phone.

Ken: Hey princess! I'm really sorry for not receiving the call but you know that the roaming charges are evil and I'm already running low on my pocket money. Besides dad won't give me pocket money for another 2 months, and you know why!

Btw, I reached here safely, the journey was amazing and we are travelling to the mountains and other scenic beauties where there are network issues.

Give me some time, I'll definitely call you.

A smile formed on your face and you decided not to ruin his mood by telling him about leaving to Korea. It gave you immense pleasure on knowing that Ken is really enjoying his stay there.

He also sent you some magnificent images of the hills where he and his friends were enjoying a lot. It made you delighted and you finally closed his wall and tried calling Rose.
