PAINFUL LOVE (on hold)

SUCCESS

Whole atmosphere was tensed. The pain was in the air and the heads were low, waiting for something good to hear.
Few moments later, the creaking of door was heard and the doctor looking after Jungkook came outside, with his face tensed.

"Doc..doctor, is everything alright with him?" Namjoon questioned.

The doctor stood there still, trying to figure out how he should proceed with his words.

"Why aren't you responding? Is Kookie fine? Tell us doctor!" Taehyung   said in a flat tone.

"I'm afraid that we need to perform a brain surgery! The accident was way too harsh and his head has been affected deeply. There are internal injuries and unfortunately we have less time. You need to allow us for proceeding." Doctor said.

"Just do it then, we need him fine...perfectly fine!" Namjoon shouted.

"You need to fill the consent regarding  surgery, because he could d..die during that or if not then there might be severe side-affects." Doctor concluded.

Everyone was freezed on hearing those sickening words. They were unable to digest the fact that they could lose their Maknae during the surgery.

"Perform the surgery, doctor." Seokjin said.

Jin filled the form and handed it over to the nurse. Meanwhile the doctor already had started operating on Jungkook.

Soon his father arrived to the hospital and asked about Jungkook. They all told him about the accident and the urgent brain surgery. He couldn't contain himself and fell on the floor, but Jimin held him and made him sit on the bench.

Emotions were clearly visible on his face. Those tears were not just about jungkook's condition but repentance. Mr. Jeon was regretting his bad parenting, denial of letting his son follow a life of his own, never understanding him. He just wanted to set a good life for him so that the future could become much more easier, and not full of struggle.

"I shouldn't have forced him to take over the Jeon's Empire. I just..I don't-"
tears started rolling down preventing Mr. Jeon to speak.

"Sir, it's not your fault. You only wanted good for him. Please don't blame yourself, the accident was something unpredictable." Namjoon tried to calm him down.

"I'm to blame. If not for my stupid inheritance, he wouldn't have gone outside at such late hour driving his car and colliding with some shit."

"Ahh! That person?" Jimin gasped.

"Who?" Mr. Jeon asked.

"Jungkook's car was crashed with another one and there was a non-korean on the driving seat. He is also injured and the doctor hasn't still came out of the ICU." Jin explained.

"Take care of him as well, none of this should be caught by media otherwise they'll make a fuss." Mr. Jeon ordered.

Hours had passed but nothing was being ensured. None of the doctor's had came outside the operation theatre. All of them were praying for Jungkook, hoping for the conditions to get better.

"Hyung! We need to know about the identity of that person as well." Taehyung said.

"Though we don't know who is to be blamed for this accident, we still need to inform his family." Suga followed.

"Right but we didn't saw any of his bag or wallet or anything to know about his whereabouts." Seokjin looked at them.

"Namjoon hyung! What about the crashed cars at the road?" Jimin asked in a scared voice.

"I told my guards to go and clean the area so media won't suspect anything."

Namjoon was the son of another businessman in Korea, so he had access to guards or goons, whatever required.

After 5 hours the doctor came outside. But this time the face wasn't dull or dark, instead it was carrying a reassuring smile.

"His condition is stable now. The brain surgery is a success." Doctor spoke.

A blanket of relief was put over them and a huge crescent was formed over their dull and damp face.

"Thankyou so much, doctor!" Mr. Jeon thanked him holding his hand tightly.

"But, he has to cut down on his frequent exercises and you know fun and frolic! He has to maintain a proper diet. Most importantly, he has to stay in hospital for a week, and then completely bed-rest for a month or so. We will keep monitoring him."

"As you say doctor. But he will be good after that, right?" Namjoon asked.

"I don't think there is anything wrong but then, he needs to be monitored for that. I hope that you will make sure that no harm is made to his head, not even the slightest ones because the injuries may start bleeding again." The doctor said awaring them.

"He is sleeping currently so you can all go home and come at the afternoon. You can meet him at that time." Doctor said and walked away.

"Sir, you should go home now. We all will stay here and take care of him." Namjoon said.

"No..no! You all go. You must've been tired all this time. I'll just stay here." Mr. Jeon protested.

Seeing Mr. Jeon all worked up and exhausted, Seokjin decided to ask everyone to head back to their home.

"Me and Suga will stay here. You all please go and take a rest. Moreover that jerk needs to get a tight scolding from Suga and then I've to show him the world wide handsome face of mine." Jin said.

All of them chuckled a little bit and decided to go back home and come in the afternoon.

After escorting them, Suga came back and sat with Seokjin.

"I'm relieved that Jungkook is fine now. I don't cry but this time couldn't contain my emotions in. Hope he will soon get normal." Suga said.

"True Suga. I was so worried. This kid needs to have a scolding."

"But what about the other guy. Didn't hear anything from the doctor till now. Are they even treating him or not?" Suga asked bluntly.

"I don't know. Hope he too is fine. We don't even know who he is! We have to help him as well." Jin said.

Both of them fell asleep while chatting.

"Is it morning already!" You murmured to yourself while the sun shone brightly in the sky.

You realised that you fell asleep on the floor itself and the sunlight was peeking through the windows, down to you.

You got up to do your morning routine. Since you weren't going to school today so you decided to stay in your room whole day, without meeting your parents.

After taking a bath and wearing comfortable clothes, you slipped yourself into the blanket and switched on the television.

After sometime you saw your phone beeping. It was a call from Rose and your eyes lit up.

Rose: Hey princess! Awake?
Y/N: Yes! Decided to stay at home today.
Rose: Good! Take a chill pill and relax.
Y/N: Hm..?
Rose: I got the tickets to Seoul.
