PAINFUL LOVE (on hold)

Today was the day when you finally had to shift to the Jeon Mansion, for sometime, maybe. You got ready quickly as Junghyun was comming to pick you up at 10am. You had packed your suitcase and everything essential to you. Soon you did your breakfast and went downstairs to tell the receptionist about your leave.

You waited for him at the couch itself, with all your belongings, scrolling through your instagram stories.

"Hey" Junghyun called you and you greeted him with a smile.

Without any delay, he helped you with your bags and put them in the car carefully. The ride was full of conversations and laughter and soon you reached his home.

You went to the room and it was in a good condition. Everything was cleaner than before and furniture was well placed.

"Seems that your servants have done a hardworking job." You gave a laugh and he replied with a nod.

"Y/N! If you need any help then don't hesitate to call out for us..I mean me, for the time being. Mine and bunny's room is at the 2nd floor."

"B..bunny?" You asked confused.

"Ah!Jungkook, he is. I call him bunny only."

"Oh alright. Thanks Junghyun."

With this you closed the door and sat on the bed, admiring the room. It had a huge window with a balcony, beautiful wall paintings, wardrobe and everything that a girl must need.

You got up and started roaming inside the room, touching everything, smiling to yourself and thanking everyone who let you spend some time here. Taking steps, you wandered in the balcony. It wasn't a big one but a small rectangular floor with the plants besides.

You really loved nature and wanted to keep lots of plants in your home, but your parents never allowed you to do things in your own way and here you were automatically welcomed by their presence, so you felt great.

While you were admiring it, your gaze went upwards and you saw Jungkook in his balcony, standing while holding a support stick. Suddenly he looked at you and you waved at him, but he looked away.

"He must be arrogant. But he talked so amazingly inside the car! Whatever" You thought to yourself and rolled your eyes at him, intentionally.

It was night time and the maids have called you out for the dinner. Since you were now at someone else's place so you decided to wear your oversized sweater with trousers, instead of your nighties!

You went down and sat along with the two brothers and their father.

"How was your day here today, Y/N?" Mr. Jeon asked.

"It was nice. I really am grateful to you for this."

"Don't worry! Stay here as long as you want."

You felt awkward on his sentence and looked at him confused, with darting eyes to give you an elaborate explaination on what he said.

"Haha..! Don't panic Y/N. It's just that I've never had a girl at my home. A girl who would come to me saying daddy, sit with me, talk with me about my day. You know that father-daughter bond! You must be knowing it, right."

You felt a knot in your throat. You bite your lips to stop the tears from flowing down. One one hand was Mr. Jeon, who never had a daughter and on the other hand it was you, who despite of having a father was yearning for father-love.

Soon Jungkook called your name and brought you out of your trance.

"What happened?" He asked.

"N..nothing! Just thinking about my family!"

"You must be missing them a lot!" Mr. Jeon asked.

"Not really!" You said and your face turned dull and expressionless.

You finished your dinner first, bowed and went back to your room quickly, leaving them in astonishment.

"I guess we shouldn't bring the topic of her family!" Jungkook spoke.

"Why is that son?"

"She didn't seem comfortable or maybe it's just my imagination!"

"Maybe he is right. While I was with her in the flight, she told me something and I really think it's not that simple. Maybe we should give her time, she can't really trust everyone so easily." Junghyun spoke and Mr. Jeon nodded.

They ate their dinner and went back into their rooms, with Junghyun helping Kookie.

At 2:00 am

You: I've shifted here and they are really nice people. I guess I'm safe!

Rose: It's pretty good then. But still Y/N, be aware of your surroundings.

You: Yeah, I will. You know today, at dinner-

Rose: What? Did something happen?

You: Ya bitch, let me complete my sentence first. We were normally having a conversation when Mr. Jeon asked me about my family..

Rose: What does he want to do by knowing about your family?

You: It was just a result of something quite emotional to him. I can't really blame him.

Rose: What's it?

You: He never had a daughter hence missing the pious bond that a father- daughter duo shares. This made me tear up, that's it.

Rose: Oh! I get it. Just tell them to not bring up anything about your fami-

You: I can't be harsh to them after they gave me a fucking big room to live. I'll just make some excuse or something!

Rose: Ohk! As you wish

You: Soon my school is going to start and I've not enough money to buy my books! What should I do?

Rose: I can't really say. Just buy the important one's for now.

You: Yeah! What else can I do? Ohky then, Bye!

Rose: Bye!

You ended the call and looked at the hall to check whether someone was there or not. After assuring yourself, you headed back to your room, unknown by the fact that Jungkook was secretly watching you from the above floor!

Jungkook POV

While I was on my way to hyung's room to get me water, I saw Y/N, standing alone in the hall and talking to someone.

I heard her conversation and felt weird. She took a long call and went back into her room.

"Something is really wrong with her! Did I do a mistake asking hyung to bring her here? What about this secret talking?" You asked yourself and frowned.

This is an update after a long time and I really wish that you like it.

My reason behind not updating was to take this story down. Idk why! I just felt that it's not going that interesting 😧

I wanted to write but something was stopping me and I turned reluctant to continue. On one hand, I was dying to write but on the other, I had lost my motivation.

Idk how many of you are actually enjoying it, but if you think that it's slow or something, then fell free to give the positive criticism.

Somehow I don't want to end this story without a proper ending as I thought earlier, before beginning it. I'm going to complete it because I think what's started should be completed.
