Will he say yes?

Connor's POV

I woke up in Troye's arms realizing I was supposed to be home last night.

I remembered then jumped up, I grabbed my clothes, kissed Troye goodbye, then sprinted out the door.

I came home, my parents were couch asleep.

They flew in for the holidays and I guess they stayed up waiting for me.

I feel terrible.

I made some coffee, and some breakfast.

My mom heard me cooking and awoke.

"Hey Connor"

"Oh hey mom, here do you want some breakfast?" I asked

"Sure thanks Connor"

"Oh well I was driving home and my car broke down, so I had to sleep at the repair shop since my car wasn't fixed till this morning"

"Ok, me and your father were up all night worried sick, we didnt know what had happened to you. Why didn't you call?"

"Oh my phone died" I replied

Truth was my phone was fully charged. My car didn't break down in fact it was in perfect condition.

My parents know I'm gay, but they don't know I'm dating Troye.

They haven't seen Troye's coming out video, so they think he's straight.

"Hey I remember that kid who can sing good, what's his name?"

"Troye?"

"Yes, him you should invite him over for dinner, last time I was here you seemed like good friends" my mom said

"Oh ok sure, I'll text him"

I texted Troye, he said yes

My dad woke up and we all had breakfast together

Later that evening Troye came over for dinner

I also invited Bethany and Tyler

"Hello Tyler, I'm Connor's mom"

"Why hello there" Tyler said cheerfully

After everyone was introduced we sat down for a nice meal my mother had prepared

Tyler sat next to me, I sat next to Troye, and Troye sat next to Bethany.

"So Bethany, is there any special fella?" My mom asked

*coughs* "no, no one right now Mrs. Franta" Beth said politely

"Ya here that Troye, Bethany's single"

"Oh awesome" Troye said faking a smile

We all chuckled

Troye told me he was confused about the whole Bethany is single thing

"If you excuse me I have to use the restroom" I said and left

I called Troye

"Oh I'm sorry, I have to take this, excuse me" Troye said

Troye and I went up to my room

"Connor what was that?" Troye said

"My mom thinks your straight and she wants you to date Bethany" I said quickly

"What, you haven't told her about us? Have you even told her you're gay?"

"Yes Troye, but I haven't told her about us yet, I was going to tell my parents tonight"

"Why don't we just tell then now" Troye said

"I don't know, I'm kind of nerve"

Troye kissed me to shut me up

I flushed the toilet, let the water run for a bit, then went downstairs

Troye came back a few minutes later

"Um, excuse me everybody, I would like to make an announcement" I said nervously

"There is someone here that I love, and you need to know who that person is"

I look at Troye

"Troye, I came to LA looking for friends, but what I got was so much better. I found someone who understands me and loves me for me. Someone who can make me smile on the darkest of days. You are the love of my life and I want to spend the rest if my life with you. *get down on one knee* Troye will you marry me?"
