Troye's POV

"Will you marry me?" Connor asked

I looked at him, already knowing what I was going to say

"Connor, I.."

Connor cut me off

"I'll give you some time to think about it"

Dinner ended and I went up to an empty room I think.

Bethany and Mrs. Franta were doing dishes so I knew Beth wouldn't interrupt me.

Tyler, Connor, and Mr. Franta were watching something on tv, so I knew they wouldn't come up either

I had to think

I love Connor so much and I can't imagine my life without him, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

But..

I also love Bethany, I know I know I'm gay, but maybe I'm bi, maybe I can like Connor and Beth.

I love Bethany so much, she's like a sister to me.

She is always there for me, and she's super funny, talented, amazing, wonderful, gorgeous, kind hearted, caring, and is the sweetest person I know.

I love everything about her, her smile, her eyes, her hair, her body, her clothes, her personality, everything.

Connor is amazing, and I love him, but how am I supposed to give him my heart when someone else already has it.

I'm saying no, because I love Bethany, I couldn't say yes to Connor because he was second best.

Connor will be crushed, I'll break his heart, but I don't want to lead him on, because that will hurt him even more.

I texted Connor

Connor came upstairs a few minutes later

My hands were shaking, my heart was beating, my mind was racing

"Hey, do you have an answer to my question?" Connor asked

"Yes I do"

He waited listening intensively

"No"

"What" Connor said my realizing what I've said

"No"

"No to the proposal?" He asked

"I can't marry you"

"What, why not? I thought you loved me" he said shocked

"I did, I do, it's just there's someone else"

"Tyler, oh my god, I can't believe him"

"No it's not Tyler" I said

"Than who could it be?"

"Bethany"

"Yeah Bethany's great, but what about her" Connor said confused

"She has it"

"Has what"

"My heart"

"What are you talking about? You're gay, remember, you like boys, I'm a boy" Connor said as he began to cry

"I don't just like boys, I also like girls, I'm bi."

"But why Bethany?"

"Dude she's amazing in every way possible, she lights up my world, when I look at her I get fireworks in my chest, she makes me smile so much and i that, I'm sorry but that doesn't happen with you" I said while breaking Connors heart

"Oh ok" he said

Connor ran off into his room, he closed the door and didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the night

It was around 4:00 am when I went to check on him

"Psst Connor, are you awake? I hope you're not too upset about earlier"

He didn't answer

He just tweeted 2 minutes ago, he can't be asleep now

I went into his room to see if was actually sleeping or was listening to music

"Connor, it's me Troye"

I went towards his restroom which was near his closet

"Connor are you in here"

I turned the bathroom knob

It opened

I saw him there, on the floor with a pill container in his hand, he was unconscious

I knew Connor had a past with cutting but I didn't think he would overdose on pills

I checked his pulse while screaming for help

"TYLER! BETH! HELP IT'S CONNOR!!!"

Tyler ran in and so did Beth

His parents heard the commotion and called 911

An ambulance was here and they put Connor on the gurney

On the way to the hospital Connor..

//OMG that chapter tho. I don't know about you but I'm excited for Christmas, only 9 more days woot woot.
