SHORT CHAPTER

i walked the whole way home. jimin and i were still arguing about jungkook by the time school ended, so i doubted he would want to hang out anymore today.

my parents were home prepping for dinner in the kitchen and lisa was in the middle of the living room watching tv. "hey, y/n, how was school today?" dad asks.

"horrible. i hated it." i say, stomping my way upstairs.

i threw myself on my bed, huffing into the comfort of my pillow. i hated it here again. what makes things worse is that i have to go back to school tomorrow and face them again...

  "y/n?" i hear my mom calling for me as she walks up the stairs. she pops her head into my room, "is everything okay? jimin just came by and asked for you. he's downstairs."

  "ugh, i'm not here." i groan.

  "what's going on? you guys were fine yesterday and this morning." mom sits on my bed, rubbing my back.

  "he frustrates me, mom. it's a lot to tell and i don't want to talk about it." i say.

  "well, come talk to him, see what he wants. i'm sure he's going to want to make things right again." she says.

  i sigh loudly before making my way downstairs. jimin is in the living room on the couch but he stands up when he sees me. "y/n, hi. i came by to ask you if you wanted to go to a party tomorrow with me." jimin asks.

  i look to my dad, "if my parents say it's okay."

  a party? i've never been to one that wasn't associated with ice cream and cake. dad nods, "you can go on one condition."

  i wait, eager for the rules.

  "you have to keep your grades up." he laughs loudly because he knows i always keep my grades up. "go have fun tomorrow, kid." he smiles at me.

  jimin smiles at me, "wanna walk me out?" i nod.

  we head outside and i shut the door behind me. "that was really cool of you... does this mean we are okay again?" i question.

  "yeah, it does. about the party, would you like to be my unofficial date?" he asks. i didn't know if he was trying to date me or not, but i'll just go along with it, "i'll go as your unofficial date, as long as you get me drinks and food while we are there."

  "deal." jimin sighs a breath of relief. i laugh before he suddenly kisses my cheek, "i'll see you in the morning? we can walk together."

  i nod slowly, "i'll see you..."
