Skylar POV

~Dreaming~

I was struggling against this guys grip and I...I just couldn't get free. I tried to scream but every time I tried, I had no voice. Suddenly, the man was ripped away from me and thrown to the ground while I was being picked up by someone who I swear to you looked like-

~End Dream~

I jolted awake in the bed and panted. The dream felt so life-like I could just feel the man's grip on me. Just then, someone shifted in bed besides me and I froze. I had no recollection of last night other than the fact that... 'oh. That's right. It was real.' I thought to myself, holding back tears as I remembered everything. Someone draped their arm around me and nuzzled their face in my hair, kissing it softly. 'Austin.' I relaxed slightly, feeling oddly comfortable in his arms. He held me tightly as I turned to face him and smiled a bit to see his chocolate brown eyes gazing sweetly back at me. "Good morning sweetie. You feeling okay?" He asked me, genuine concern lacing his voice. I gave him a small nod before looking down at my body, realizing I had slept in he dress I wore last night. I felt slightly embarrased to be in bed with a man I hardly knew in such a skimpy dress. He eyed me for a moment before running is hand over my arm to look at the bruises that had formed over night.
"Jesus Christ." I heard him mutter to himself before turning his attention back to me. "You must be hungry!" He told me as he began to get out of bed. I nodded again and he chuckled. "You're cute. I'll go make us breakfast you can come downstairs once you're ready." He informed me nicely as he headed for the door only tot stop abruptly and curse at himself. He quickly made his way to the dresser across the room, yanked out a drawer and began to rifle through his stuff. I watched him with curiousity as he mumbled to himself. He quickly grabbed a pair of basketball shorts and a sweater before making his way over to me with a grin across his face. "Here. Wouldn't want the boys to see you in a dress like that?" He whispered to me, his lips just inches from mine and I could feel my face heat up. I gave a small squeak as he left the room, leaving me with the clothes to change into.
I slowly took off te dress and my accessories, laying them nicely on the end of the bed as I threw the sweater over my head and put on the basketball shorts. They were seriously big but I didn't care. I quietly pushed open the door and made my way downstairs to where Austin was. 'Wow. His house is huge!' I thought when I heard someone drop a pan on the floor. "Dammit!" Austin growled before placing it on the stove top and heading to the refridgorater. He glanced in my direction and smiled, aborting his walk to the fridge and heading straight for me, sweeping me up in a hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist while his arms were around my neck and shoulders. "You sure you're okay?" He asked me once again, causing me to look up. I could tell he was being serious. "Yeah." I croaked out, clearing my throat. "I'm fine." I tried to avoid his eyes but I couldn't. I was still hella fucking scared out of my mind. He took my chin inbetween his pointer finger and thumb, forcing me to look at him once more. "You sure?" I sighed. "I guess. I mean, last night..." My voice trailed off and Austin clicked his tounge.
"Thank you." I told him and he smiled. "Of course! I couldn't just stand there and watch that happen to such a gorgeous girl like you." He said and I rolled my eyes. "By the way, how did you know I was alone?" I asked him, secretly knowing the answer. He turned red and bit his lip. "well...you know-I...erm....I wanted to..."He stuttered as I giggled. "Wanted to what?" He stared at me for a minute before looking at his feet. "I wanted to know what you were doing this saturday." He admitted. My eyes flew wide in shock. Austin Carlile wanted to know what I was doing this Saturday? What the actual fuck. "Oh? And if I had said I was free this Saturday what would you have done?" he smirked, leaning down till his lips were inches from mine. "Well, I would've taken you out again, only this time no interuptions from anyone." He replied, eyeing my lips before placing his gently on mine.
This wasn't the kiss I remembered from te night before. It was sweet and tender and caring. Just like I always pictured his lips to be. I removed my hands from around his waist and wrapped them around his neck, entangling my fingers in is messy hair as he gripped my hips and pulled me closer. "AUSTIE WE'RE BACK!" I heard a triumphant Alan exclaim as he kicked the door open with Tino, Phil, and Aaron close beind. Austin sighed and I could tell he was a bit annoyed. "Thanks for knocking Alan." he yelled to them, sarcasm evident in his tone. The boys entered the kitchen as Austin went to go stand by Alan, leaving me in the middle of the room. I could tell Alan was happy about something, it was written all over his face. Austin whispered something in Tino's ear and he responded with a nod, getting an approving look from Austin. "Good." Austin said aloud. I tilted my head to the side a bit still having no fucking clue what had just happened but I could feel Alan's eyes on me.
"Morning! Skylar right?" he said. I nodded before wondering how the hell he knew my name. "How did you-" began to ask but Alan laughed. "Your wallet was in your jacket and I had to grab your keys to get your car but-" Alan's sentance was cut off short by Austin slugging him in the shoulder. "OW!" shrieked Alan, pouting as Austin walked over to me and placed his arm around me protectively. "Alan and Phil are now making breakfast." He announced, earning groans from them before turning to me. "I've got to talk with Tino about something. Go sit on the couch with Aaron. I'll be back shortly." He told me, kissing me sweetly on he lips before heading down the hallway and disappering into a room wit Tino. I slowly made my way over to the couch and sat down by Aaron, starting up a conversation with him.

Austin's POV
I shut the door before heading to the other side of the room and flinging open the closet doors. I pushed away all the extra clothes to reveal another door. A door that lead to the basement. I glanced at Tino , making sure he was behind me before opening it and letting him in. I shut the door and made my way down stairs to MY office. In the basement, there was a wall filled with all types of guns and ammo while the other ad maps and stuff. In the corner there was a huge desk and a chair, kind of like my office downtown but a bit more comfortable. I sat behind the desk while Tino pulled up a chair and sat down. "Is it done?" I demanded, narrowing my eyes at Tino. "Of course Austin. Ryan Isaish McClaire is dead and his body disposed of." He informed me. I leaned back in my chair and smirked. "Good. Who took him out?" "Phil did. With the sniper. Right through the heart in his office. No one noticed of course. He was always alone. We cleaned up and got rid of all evidence just like you taught us." He said while a smile. I nodded before reaching into my desk for a folder. Tino reached into his back pocket and handed me a stack of cash. All in 20s of course. "15k right there." Tino told me as I placed it into the folder before getting up and heading to the other side of the room to a safe. '46. 88. 06. 69' I thought to myself, just making sure I remembered the lock.
It opened with a click and I swung open the door, setting the folder amoungst all the others before closing it and locking it. I turned back towards Tino to see him deep in thought. "What's up dude?" I asked, kind of worried but not really. He looked up at me before speaking. "That girl upstairs. Is she just a thing or more? Because you haven't had anything too serious since-" I cut him off with a hiss. "I know I haven't ad anything that serious since that low life cunt! You don't need to remind me!" I snapped, causing Tino to shrink back a little. I sighed, walking over to pat his back. "I think it's just time to get into a serious relationship. It's been awhile." I said calmly, all anger gone from my voice and being stored somewhere deep inside me for another time. Tino smiled and nodded. "Good. She seems like a great person." He replied, heading up the stairs and back with te others. I ran my fingers through my hair and slumped into my chair, placing my glasses on my face. "I think she is." I mumbled to myself.
'Let's hope she doesn't find out about your little secret Austin.' the voice in my head snarled. Shaking my head violently, I headed back upstairs with the others.
