Austin POV
There was no sun today. Only a cool California breeze flowing through the cracks of the windows. I yawned and stretched before remembering I had someone next to me. Skylar was laying on her side with her back facing me, still asleep. I chuckled before leaning over and kissing all the way from her shoulder to her cheek. She stirred as I did so, only causing me to smile more. She sighed as I kissed the corner of her mouth before turning her head and kissing me. "Mhmm. Morning." I told her as she blinked sleep away from her eyes. "Morning to you too." I smiled, kissing her once again this time a bit more passionate. She turned over while I laid on top of her, never once breaking our kiss. I bit her bottom lip, pulling it out earning a moan from her while our tounges fought for dominance and, of course, I won. Her hands went straight to my back, dragging her nails lightly down it, causing me to shiver and arch into her. Suddenly, I stopped kissing her and placed my forehead against hers. She looked at me through bright blue eyes as I kissed her nose lightly. "Let's get food." I told her although I saw disappointment across her face she quickly smiled and nodded. I got off her, helping he up as well as we both headed downstairs to see Alan on the couch watching TV. "Alan? What the actual fuck man!" I shouted as Alan smiled at us. "Morning you two." Skylar laughed a bit as I just stood there and sighed. "Alan, this is like the third time this week you've just entered my house without my knowledge." Alan shrugged. "I'm your best friend you fuck. I think this comes with the package." He retorted as I just scoffed and grabbed Skylar's hand, leading her to the kitchen. She sat on the bar stool while I rummaged through the food in the pantry. "So we have mac & cheese or cereal. Which one?" I asked her, earning a giggle from her. 'God I love her laughs.' I thought before turning around with the mac & cheese in my hand and heading over to her. She looked up at me and shook her head. "Austin, I don't think mac & cheese for breakfast is socially acceptable." I smirked before kissing her lips. "Nothing is socially unacceptable in my house." I set the box down, placing my hands on her hips as she wrapped her arms around my neck and ran her fingers through my hair, kissing me again. I kissed her back, gripping her thighs that were now wrapped around my waist as I carried her to the counter and set her on it. My lips left her mouth, leaving a trail of little bites followed by kissing them softly until I reached her soft spot on her neck and biting down on it. She whimpered, tugging at my hair some while I began to kiss and suck on that spot until I marked her as mine.
Suddenly, my phone rang and I grumbled against her skin before grabbing my phone from behind her to see a restricted number. I looked at her and kissed her once more. "I'll be right back." She nodded as I walked outside. "Hello?" I asked only to receive a chilling laugh. "Hello Austin. Long time no talk. God haven't you missed me? Because I've missed you." My blood ran cold. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but I defiantly knew the voice. "Who is this?" I demanded waiting for the reply. "Oh Austin. I'm rather hurt. Don't you remember me? The so called 'friend' you had that you tried to kill?" I could hear him smirking on the other side of the phone as the realization hit me. "Gabriel." I snarled, the anger just oozing from my body. "My My My Austin. What a gorgeous girl you have? Tell me, does she know what you actually do for a living besides that fucking band? She doesn't does she?" Gabriel was taunting me, trying to get a reaction from me. I calmly walked back into the house just to check on Skylar only to see her talking with Alan about the band. "Gabriel, I swear if you hurt any of my friends I will-" I was cut off by him scoffing. "You'll what? Kill me? Hm let's think back to that night and see how that worked out." I bit my lip remembering the night we were suppose to take him out but he ended up killing one of our close friends. "Now listen to me Austin. We're going to play a game. One where I win and you lose. I'm going to make you suffer Austin. Maybe I'll kill off all of your band mates then move on to your friends until I get to you. Her on the other hand, I might just spare. After all, she seems like fun doesn't she Austin? Then after I've taken away everything you care about in this fucking world, I'll kill you." He promised me and I knew he would keep this promise unless I killed him. My blood was now boiling and I just wanted to beat the shit out of something. "Oh and one more thing Austin. Keep your little play toy close. Wouldn't want her to get hurt now would we?" And with that he hung up, leaving me standing in my hallway looking at my phone.
I felt someone's arms wrap around me as I flinched only to find Skylar's arms around me. I picked up her hand in mine and kissed each of her fingers and knuckled softly before turning to face her. "You have school today don't you?" I said shakily. I was still really pissed off that he had the nerve to call me and that he was watching Skylar. I mean, I've only just met her but I feel like I've known her my whole life. "Can't you skip for today?" I nearly begged her, picking her up in my arms. She sighed and shook her head. I bit my lip and gave her the puppy dog eyes. "Please?" She looked at me, a bit confused but a small smile crept across her face. "Okay. But I have to go to my first class because I have a huge test then I'll come back." I smiled, feeling a bit better that could keep a closer eye on her. I kissed her before letting her go and watched her walk up stairs to change. Alan came up to me and looked at me. "What's up Austin?" Concern laced in his voice. I turned to him and drew a shaky breath. "Gabriel's back and he wants to play a game." Alan's eyes went wide before narrowing with grief and anger. "If it's a game he wants it's a game he'll get!" he growled at me before calling up Tino, Phil and Aaron. I stared out the window for a second before walking upstairs to join Skylar.
Gabriel POV
From my car, I had a clear view of Austin's house. I was taking pictures of them just to scare them before going through them and stopping at the one of Austin and his girl kissing. I smirked a bit before looking back. "I'm back and you're going to die Austin." I said darkly before speeding off.
