Skylar POV

Since Austin dropped me off this morning, Sabrina has been on my back all fucking day. All she want to know is what happened last night, who did I go home with, if I got lucky, and who is the 'mystery man' who dropped me off this morning. The only thing keeping me from going insane has been texting Austin all day. In all honesty, I figure that this was just a fling with Austin and it hurt to think he just wanted to use me for sex or something. I sighed as I sat in the last class listening to my professor give some lecture that I really wasn't paying attention to...like at all. Suddenly my phone vibrated and I jumped a bit before checking the text and shooting a glare towards Sabrina. "Who is MYSTERY MAN?!?!?! xoxo Sabrina" it read, looking over at her to see her with pleading eyes as I gave her the finger. Just then I received another text only this one was from Austin.
"I might be running a bit late. 5 minutes at the latest but I'll be there! See you soon cutie :*" I bit my lip and blushed before replying. "Alright! I'll see you soon :*" it sent and just in time too seeing that the professor had called my name to answer a question.

Finally the bell rang as I shoved everything in my messenger bag before Sabrina came skipping over to me. "I saw you!" She sang and I rolled my eyes. "I saw you too dipshit." She pouted before walking out the door with me. "You seriously got to tell me who Mystery Man is. Or at least Lukas or Kat. Come on Sky!! Give me a hint!!" She begged as I laughed. "No! Not yet! Maybe next week. I still don't even know if Mystery Man still wants me around." I retorted, walking down the steps to see Kat crying on the bench outside the building. "Uh oh." I mumbled as Sabrina and I walked over to her. "Kat baby...what's wrong?" Sabrina cooed as I knelt in front of her. "H-He said he w-wouldn't do i-it again." She chocked out finally as I looked at Sabrina questioningly. "Do what again? Is this about Lukas?" I asked her and she nodded. "He...he....he.....he h-h-hit me." She stuttered out quietly. My eyes flew wide with shock as I looked at Sabrina who also had the same expression. We know how Lukas gets at time, we've all experienced it one way or another. I shuddered at the thought of the night Lukas crossed a major line with me. I got up and hugged Kat. "I'm sorry boo. Hey, how about you spend the night with me?" I offered but she shook her head. "No. I'll be fine with Lukas tonight." She told me. I was about to say something when I felt someone's hands wrap around my waist, pulling me back.
"Hey sweetheart." Austin breathed into my ear, kissing my cheek before looking at Kat and Sabrina. "Did I interrupt something?" He asked me, embarrasement and concern lay across his face as he came and stood besides me with his arm wrapped around my shoulders. Sabrina looked from Austin back to me before displaying a smirk across her face. Kat looked up as well before wiping her eyes and smiling. "Are you Mystery Man? Sabrina here has been bugging Sky about a mystery man all day long." She said as I turned bright red. Austin gave out a chuckled before nodding. "Well I guess I've been caught red handed." Austin smiled as I continued to blush. Sabrina looked at me and winked before turning her attention back to Austin. "So, Mystery Man, what's your name?" Sabrina questioned while Kat started to pack up her stuff. "Austin." He replied, shaking Sabrina's hand before shaking Kat's. "Well, Sabrina and I have to go work on a project for ASL. Come on Sabrina." Kat smiled at me as she literally dragged Sabrina to the car. Austin laughed and turned around to face me. "I'm here to pick you up." I rolled my eyes and smiled as he placed his lips on mine.
Just then, Lukas came walking up in a rage fit, huffing and growling like no ones business. I felt Austin hold me closer and tighter as Lukas stopped in front of us. "Have you seen Kat?" He demanded. I bit my lip before looking at the ground. Austin flexed his muscles as he cleared his throat. "Uh you know what? I don't think we have." Lukas shot a death glare to Austin, his fists now in tight balls. "I don't even know you! So don't fucking talk!" Lukas hissed through his teeth. "Lukas, I think she went to study hall but I'm not too positive." I mumbled, receiving a blank stare before she stalked off towards study hall. "Told you he has anger management issues." I told Austin who interlocked our fingers together and walked me to the car. Once inside the car, he sped back to my apartment where we headed upstairs to set my books down. "Grab some clothes sweetie." Austin finally told me as I threw off my top and put it in the hamper. "What?" I asked him, kinda shocked but some how feeling very excited. I turned around to grab a shirt and turned to walk over to the bed when I saw Austin in the doorway. "Oh shit sorry!" He squeaked before turning around and looking at the ceiling. I gave out a small laugh before throwing the top on. "Grab clothes? Why?" I asked him as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Well the university is closer to my house so I thought you could just spend the night seeing as how tomorrow's Friday and so..." He trailed off as I smiled. "Hm. Normally I don't spend the night with strange men who I've just met." I joked and walked over to me. "Well maybe I could be an exception." I bit my lip and nodded. "Just because it's you though." I told him, kissing him on the lips softly before turning around to pack a small bag then headed to the car and driving back to Austin's.

Once at Austin's, he carried my bag inside and set it up in his room while I walked out back to see Alan and the rest of the band members just sitting with their shirts off and their swim trunks on. "So then I was like, 'dude that's my girl' and I decked in in the fucking face. He was such a fucking cunt like no joke." Alan joked, receiving sighs and eye rolls from everyone. Tino saw me and smiled. "Hey Skylar! You're back!" He exclaimed before quickly grabbing a chair and placing it in between Alan and him. "Hey Sky!" Alan yelled before wrapping an arm around me to hug me. Phil and Aaron also said hello before Austin came back out and coughed. "Alan..." He growled as I looked back at Austin with a smile. Alan quickly took his arm off me and Austin walked over, picking me up before sitting in my spot and putting me on his lap. "So, Skylar....You're in college right?" Aaron asked me, looking at me intently as I nodded. "Yup. I'm majoring in photography at the Los Angeles School of the Arts." I told them. An eerie silence over came the group until Tino turned to me. "Why photography? I mean, there are plenty of other majors out there." I smiled because I always loved it when someone asked me that question. "Well, I just love the thought of capturing emotions and events in pictures. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words." I told them as Austin kissed my shoulder. They all nodded their heads in agreement while eyeing Austin and I.
Alan nudged Austin, signaling him to head inside with Alan. Austin took the hint and helped me off his lap before kissing me and following Alan inside, leaving me outside with the others.

Austin POV
I followed Alan to the kitchen where he sat on the counter with his head down. "Alan what is it. I kinda want to be out there." I said irritated with Alan a bit. He looked up at me with confusion. "Austin, our target goes to college there. What if Skylar-" I cut him off with a hiss and towered over him. "No. Collateral. Damage. You got me!?" I demanded form Alan. Alan looked at me, his eyes wide with a mixture of shock and fear before nodding with his mouth agape. I sighed before putting a hand on his shoulder then walking back outside. Skylar was in still talking with Tino, Aaron and Phil about her college classes when I came over and picked her up and placing her on my lap again. I silently sat there, coming up with a plan to get Skylar away from the school the day the hit was suppose to happen. I mean, I just met her but there was something about her. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on but I knew there was something that drew me to her. "Are you and Austin like dating or what?" Tino chuckled. My head shot up from resting on Skylar's shoulder and glared at Tino while she sat on my lap biting her lip. "Tino." Phil groaned and facepalmed himself earning a sigh from Aaron as well. She shifted uncomfortably before finally settling her self against my chest and leaning back. I made a mental note to myself to get Tino later as I grabbed her hands and held them with mine on her stomach.

After a couple more hours, finally it was just time to call it quits for the night. We said goodbye to the rest of the boys. Hugging each of them while slapping Tino upside the head before heading upstairs with Skylar. She was already changed into her sweats and a t-shirt while I just crawled into bed wearing my sweats. I pulled her closer to me, her back against my chest while I laid there thinking about what Tino had asked us. To be honest, I hadn't had a serious relationship and being in a band AND being a hitman already makes it hard enough to get a girlfriend let alone a serious relationship. I sighed while she turned to face me and buried her face into my neck. I guess she was already sleeping judging by the sound of her breathing and the fact that her eyes were shut. I just couldn't get over the fact that I had this perfect angel here laying with a demon like me in bed. How was it possible to even get someone like her in my life.

She is an angel. Sweet and perfect with a touch of innocence while I, I am a demon. A beast. A fucking monster who deserves to rot in hell for all eternity.
I sighed and shook my head causing her to wake a little. I saw her smile as she placed her lips softly on mine before drifting back off to sleep.
Maybe it was possible to get someone like her.
