Skylar POV

I woke up in Tino's hospital room still wrapped up in Austin's arms while the others slept everywhere. I wiggled my way out of Austin's grip before quietly making my way to the door, opening it with a slight creak. "Where are you going?" A voice asked me and I jumped a bit only to see Tino smiling at me. "Oh Tino. It's you." I whispered with a small giggle. He nodded and motioned for me to come closer. "So where are you going?" he asked me and I sighed. "I'm hungry so most likely to eat the cafeteria." I let out a breathy laughed as did he. "Bring me back cake." He begged and I nodded before hurrying out of the room and into the hallway.

What had happened over the course of these past few weeks had amped up my anxiety really bad, walking down this hallway was like a death trap. I eyed people suspiciously before finally making it to the elevator. I let out a breath I had been holding as the doors began to shut only to open and reveal the man I had bee running from. "Hi love. Care if I hitch a ride?" He smirked as I tried to run out the doors but it was too late. The doors had closed. He chuckled to himself as I stood as far away form him as possible. As he took a step forward I pulled out a knife. "Don't come any closer." I warned. He grinned darkly before disarming me and hitting the stop button on the elevator.

"You know, seeing you in this light makes you look eve hotter." he snickered as he smoothly placed his lips onto mine. I tried to push him off but he had other ideas. I could feel him trying to unhook my bra from behind and that's when everything sunk in. This was really going to happen and no one was going to save me. "NO PLEASE STOP NO! LET ME GO!" I shrieked, kicking and scratching him before finallly clawing his face, leaving blood there. He stepped back and looked at his hand which was now covered in blood. "Always putting up a fight. Well, we'll see about that now won't we." he chuckled darkly taking closer steps to me.

Austin POV
I jolted awake to the sound of the intercom. "We have an emergency situation in the elevator." I looked around but couldn't find Skylar anywhere. "Guys! Syklar's gone!" I shouted franticlly, as the others stirred and sat up, blinking sleep away from their eyes. "She said she was only going to get food from the cafeteria." Tino mumbled from his hospital bed. I nearly ran over and punched him in the face but I didn't. Instead I ran over to the elevator, gun under my jacket as everyone began to crowd around it. "Someone help me please! No let go of me! Please stop!" the voice cried through the elevator doors. I instantly knew it was Skylar. I rushed forward only to be stopped by a security officer. "I'm sorry sir but you'll need to stand back." he said. I shook my head and pushed him aside. "That's my girlfriend!" I snarled as I approched the door. "Go get me a crowbar now!" I demanded the closest security guard who nodded and rushed off.

"Stop struggling!" I heard Gabriel yell followed by a loud thud. The anger and rage inside me snapped and I began to try and pry open the doors with my hands. "Sir, here." The officer handed me the crowbar and that's when I did it. The doors swung open and I hopped into the elevator which was a little below the door. Skylar was on the floor with Gabriel hovering over her and he looked uncounsious. "GABRIEL!" I snarled, lunging for him but he evaded me. "Hello Austin! It's finally good to see you at your finest!" He sneered at me as he jumped on the railing and through the skylight in the elevator. I was about to go after him but I heard Skylar groan and shift on the floor which made me whip around. "Austin?" She whimpered as I knelt besides her, cradling her in my arms. "You guys okay down there? We think we've gotten the elevator to work again." Another officer said.

"Austin..." She whimpered again. "Shush baby I'm here." I kissed her forehead and she handed me a note. I carefully took the note and opened it up. "He said it was for you." She whispered before passing back out.
