"mama? dada where?" Wanda asked for the 3rd time that morning.

Everyone, besides Clint, sat at the table for breakfast. The guys have been trying to lighten up the mood, so Wanda wouldn't suspect anything and so Natasha could wrap her head around everything, trying to understand.

No, she wasn't that scared for Clint life because this has happened before, more times than she would like, but enough to know he wasn't in grave danger. Yet. She just needs to find him.

Their assignment was to check if the base was still operating and clear it out if it was, which was cleared and not operating. Maybe it wasn't? No it was, they checked everything.

That blast was meant for the both of them, so what would they need from them? passwords? codes? formulas?

Nothing added up.

Natasha was pulled away from her thoughts when a small finger poked her arm. "mama?" Wanda asked with wide eyes. Everyone quieted down, so... well she was Black Widow. Need I say more?

"I'm sorry Wanda, what was your question?" Natasha apologized. "dada where?" She repeated. "Well, dada is.. lost. He got lost when me and him went to work. And now we have to try to find him." Natasha pushed the truth as much as she could.

"dada los'?" Wanda puzzled. "Yes." She responded. "dada siwwy." She scrunched her nose. "He really is." Natasha sighed. Wanda's head went down, trying to think of a way to help.

"unca' tark an' unca' bwucie scitenist wite?" Wanda perked up. "Yes they are scientists." Natasha replied. Wanda turned to Bruce and Tony. "u find dada pease? i pomise i be good girw." She pleaded, with a look none of them could resist. "You're always good kiddo and you'll always be our best girl. We'll do everything we can to find him." Bruce smiles warmly.

She smiles shyly, ducking her head. Natasha gave her a bowl of berries since she needed something healthy besides cookies and waffles.

"Wait- Clint does has that phone on him right?" Sam considered. "I don't think so, it was probably destroyed in the fir- I mean he might've lost that as well." Natasha said slowly, keeping the lie straight forward. "You think there's another way to find him?" Steve asked, turning towards Bruce and Tony.

"But don't we already know where he is? You and Clint went to work to try to find some people at the old workplace, was it operating?" Bucky chose his words carefully, enough for the others to understand, but not to Wanda. He was indicating the HYDRA base they were supposed to check out.

"Weirdly, it was clear. We were just about to come back here, then he.. got lost. It might not even that organization, but a chance it was." Natasha explained. "So it's unclear where exactly?" Rhodes tried to comprehend. She nodded.

"Back to square one."

They all sigh.

"wait.. I did try to install a tracking device on Clint's suit, but he took it with him on this mission before I could finish." Tony suddenly remembered the memory. "So would it be possible to trace him through what you have already installed?" Loki asked.

"Maybe I can try to complete the installation without the suit, but no doubt it's going to be difficult. It'll take a few days or weeks? But with the Stark tech, I'd say we can." Tony nods.

"I'll begin scanning I did so far and continue from there after breakfast. Anyone with me?" Tony took a bite out of his toast. "Yeah, I'll come." Bruce agrees.

"Thor and I should go over to New Asgard. Maybe Heimendell will have eyes on Clint." Loki says. "I'm sorry, but I can't. Station needs me for a couple of weeks, long list of problems they need help on." Rhodes sighs.
