"Sara!"

It's Sara, I'm so happy and shock at the same time! What is she doing here? Max doesn't talk; he goes inside my place right away.

I look at Sara who has a smirk on her face!

"I guess you really shouldn't trust anyone," she said keeping her smirk on. What does that suppose to mean? I mean Sara was always an innocent person. She didn't even know about my real identity. "What do you mean?" I finally get the courage to ask. She isn't acting like herself. "I don't know," she suddenly answers, her smirk vanishes from her face and a guilty expression covers her face. "What's wrong?" I asked quietly. "I don't know what I am doing here," she replies, "who am I?" She adds, asking me. confusion and sadness can be heard in her voice. Like she actually has no idea what is she doing here!

I know Sara. She's not the kind of person who forgets things. Something is up. "When did you get here?" Looking at her, I ask.

"I don't know,"

"How did you get here?" I ask. I don't want to act like a detective that I am, but something smells fishy!

"I drove here," she says looking at the ground. I look around for her car, but no car is there. I am now more suspicious about her. I need to stick to the facts and forget about emotions for now. "Then where is your car? You are lying. Someone drove you here!" I tell her. "Can I come inside? Breaking up with you was the worst thing I ever did to you," she said looking at me with hopeful voice and eyes. I can still see that she's hiding something. "No," I said closing the door which was still open from when Max went inside. "Let's sit here in the back garden," I say while leading her to a chair.

She sits on one of the chairs, and I sit on another one.

In the back yard, There are two white, plastic chairs and one round table in the middle.

"Ok, you are here to talk. Let's talk!" I said calmly waiting for her to start. She is quiet for a while before I see her eyes become sad again. "I don't know what is happening to me," she says looking guilty. "You know I love you. I always have," she tells me. She's trying to let me know something without using words! She looks at me trying her best to make her face look indifferent, but I know her. She can't hide anything from me. She looks at me intensely.  What is going on!?

It's quiet for a while both Sara and I are looking at each other waiting. I don't even know what we're waiting for, to be honest. "I can't do this," she suddenly says getting up. Well, I guess I'm always ahead of everyone because before she says or does anything I hold her hand. I noticed earlier that her hand was in a fist like she's holding something. I know for a fact she's hiding something in her left hand. "What do you have in your hand?" I ask her sternly. "Nothing," she replies while rolling her eyes. I roll my eyes at her too. She's lying "You know I think you need to prove that there's nothing in your hand," I said seriously. She doesn't open her hand, so I decide to squeeze it a little. "Ow!" She whines painfully. I then see blood start coming out of her palm! What is she holding? She looks in pain. "I can't hurt you. I'm not a murderer!" She says. I raise an eyebrow. My instinct was right. Something is up. "Well, I mean I can't hurt you anymore," she adds.  She emphasizes anymore. I make a confused face. Honestly, I don't know what is going on anymore. "So you've hurt me before!?" I finally ask. She's too innocent to hurt me. "I did," she says smirking again. Ok, this is getting crazy. I mean one moment she looks lost and guilty and the next she smirks like she knows things.

"Open your hand," I command seeing blood keep coming from her left hand. Gradually and forcefully I open her hand only to find a knife in the middle of it.

A sharp knife!

Shocked, I look at Sara's face. She's having a smirk on her face now! She wants to kill me! Maybe she's been ordered to do that! Her eyes become dark. Her smile vanishes again. I feel my heart has been slapped. I swallow hard.

Max POV

I wait for Avar inside. What were all things that happened in the jail about? I feel weak and sick of thinking about them all. What is Sara doing here? Things are getting more confusing.

It's been a while that we came back here. I get inside right away. Avar isn't inside yet. I opened the window to shout at her asking why she is taking so long. What I see stops me from doing so.

Sara is holding a knife on Avar's neck. I can tell it's a sharp knife. She starts to apply some pressure to it! Wait, what is happening? The Avar I know doesn't give in. This is huge. I go to the phone and dial the only number that I can think of 9-1-1 at the moment.

"Hello," it was Matt.

"Someone wants to hurt Avar, please come here," I say because I have no idea what else to say! From where I am looking, it looks like Sara's attacking Avar, but they were so close to each other. Why would Sara hurt Avar? Are they, like, each other enemy now? "Why do I need to believe you?" Max asks showing me he doesn't believe me. "This is not the time to ask these questions or joke around. Someone is attacking Avar with a sharp-looking knife right now," I reply immediately. "You better not make this up," he replies before the phone ends.

I really wish the police comes soon. The knife on Avar's neck is obviously hurting her. It shows that Sara is applying some pressure to Avar's neck. Sara's left hand is bloody. She's left-handed! I close my eyes before I hear a gunshot.

Uh-oh.

I then hear the police siren, what's going on? I better stay put.

Avar POV

"I see cops are here," Sara says. Never in my life, I thought Sara would ever hurt me. I look at where the gunshot sound came from, and I see a person wearing all black and has a gun in his or her hand.

I don't know what to expect anymore! My former crush is my brother; my only friend wants to kill me, and there's this new person right in front of me. Who is she or he? Before I could collect my thoughts, the police get here, thank god! I look up to see the window upstairs in my place is open. I see Max's head; he is watching all of this. That's how I know Max is the one who called cops for me.

God knows how much he saw.

I'm not the only one who is protecting my baby brother, he's protecting me as well. Everything is happening so fast!
