When Rebecca told me that she was pregnant I immediately went to my office and started to write a letter to my future children about how great their mommy was and how I much I loved them. I read it and put on it little Lopez and I couldn't believe that I was going to be a daddy to this baby. The letter was everything and I knew that when Rebecca read it she would cry. I went home with her and gave her the letter and she started to cry she really loved me.
Our Little Lopez,
Hey, sweet baby. I'm writing this at a point in my life where we haven't met yet, but that doesn't mean I haven't thought about you already. In fact, I think about you a lot. I can't wait for the day we meet because I know you're mommy will bless me with the greatest gift a human could ever receive: you. I keep imagining that beautiful moment in time where you'll come into the world. You'll leave an everlasting glow in my heart, and I know that I'll be eternally happy no matter what conflicts may arise in my life. Although it's nice to dream, I know that what I'm imagining now won't compare to what it'll actually feel like when you're here.
I can't wait for all the milestones like the day you begin taking your first steps or say your first word. When I see you ride your bike without training wheels or get your driver's license. Your first heart break and your first love. The day you begin kindergarten, middle school, high school, and college. The day you leave home and begin living by yourself. The day you marry your husband or wife and the day you have a sweet child of your own. I can't wait to tell you old stories of your grandpa and grandma, the day I met your mommy, the way the world was when I was your age, and so much more.
Actually, I can wait for all of those things because before you know it those days will come...and go. They're all going to happen within the blink of an eye, and I know time will only continue to go faster and faster. I can only hope that I enjoy all those moments, soak them in as best as I can, and hold onto them tightly. Also, I want you to know that I am so proud of you. Your successes and your failures.
Your doubts, hopes, dreams, fears, strengths. Everything. I am so extremely proud of you. Wherever you are in life, even your darkest hour, I'm always going to be proud of you no matter what because you're our kid. Even when you think you've hit rock bottom, or your hope for the future is growing dim, We are always going to be proud of you because we know how strong you are. The day you overcome your biggest obstacles in life, We will be there smiling every step of the way watching you grow. And not only we will be proud of you, but we will be proud of ourselves because we know that we did a good job raising you to be strong enough to fight those battles.
On that note, We want you to know that we going to try our best to raise you into the best man or woman you could possibly be, and give you everything we can to help you get to that point. We would give you the world if we could, but know there will be times when we can't give you everything you want. We are going to try our best though. Also, mommy knows that I'm going to be the worst worry-wart in the history of worry-warts. All my stresses, fears, and anxieties are going to increase dramatically because of you. But don't think for a second that it's a bad thing, it's because I care about you more than you know. We want to protect you every second of everyday. We want to know that you're safe always, and, although this world is magnificent in so many ways, it can be a scary place too. We realize, now, that it's impossible to protect you from the harsh bitterness of it all, but please forgive us for trying. Please understand that we do it out of love.
We want you to know right now that we love you more than words can say. We love you so much it hurts. No matter what's happening in your life or mine, whether you're in a period of terrible pain or everlasting joy, We love you with all our hearts. From the moment you arrive, to the moment of my final breath and beyond, I'm always going to love you. I can't wait to be your daddy and I can't wait for you to meet your mommy.
So until the day we meet we love you to the moon and back. I want to bring you to the place where I met your mommy and I can't wait to tell you story's about us being friends and not knowing that I loved your mommy.Mommy and daddy are really popular and we are going to try and shield you from that as much as possible so that you can try and have a normal life.

Rebecca couldn't believe that he had wrote a letter to their baby she couldn't believe it.
Colby: Here is one more letter and I really want you to read it.
Rebecca started reading the second letter and her heart was full of love from Colby.
Rebecca,
I am hopelessly in love with you, and I want to be that special someone with whom you are desperately in love with. I want to be the best friend for you. The kind of friend whom you could hug tight in your arms, the one you'd like to cuddle within our bed. I want you to let me in a private world that is only yours. Show me the deepest and most secret thoughts which you keep trapped in your head. I promise to be the kind of friend who will cherish the memories of all the things you say and the shape of your lips when you tell them. I am eager to discover every inch of your body, every curve, and every freckle. I want to know where to touch you, and I want to know how to touch you. I want to see your smile that is designed just for me. Yes, I do want to be that kind of friend, the best one in the entire world.
If my love were an ocean,there would be no more land.If my love were a desert,you would see only sand.If my love were a star-late at night, only light.And if my love could grow wings,I'd be soaring in flight. My dear, I just want you to know that every time I say I love you more, it's not that I mean I love you more than you love me. No. When I say so, it means that there won't be such bad days ahead of us that could make me love you less. I love you more, and it means no fight we will ever have can change that. I love you, and no distance can stand between us. I love you more than any life challenge that could appear between us. I love you more than all of that, and I love you the most. I'm glad and proud to be able to call you my wife I'm so lucky to have you in my life and I'm so happy that you are going to be the best mommy to our future children that we have.
