Oikawa x Hinata~ Switched?

・Chapter 7・

Hinata's POV:
I wake up around 4:50-5:00. I yawn before getting up.
I get changed and I go eat breakfast.
I go to wake up Oikawa.
"Oikawa." I say, shaking him to wake up.
He yawns.
"What is is?" he asks.
"C'mon. Let's go." I say.
He sighs.
"You get up to early." he growls.
"That's just me." I say.
He yawns and gets up.
"I'll meet you at the door." he says, tired.
"Okay!" I smile, and walk out the door.

I wait about 30 minutes before I see Oikawa walking towards me.
"What took you so long? I know you have to eat but it takes you that long to change?" I ask.
"Well, I'm tired and I don't want to get up this early." he growls.
"You don't have to jog with me. I just don't want to be alone." I say.
He stands there.
"Actually, I'll just deal with it." he shrugs.

Works every time

I say to myself.
"Let's go then!" I smile.
We start on our jog. We go a different path this time. Oikawa says he knows his way back. And I trust him. We continue to go down the new path one more mile.
We talk and jog.
"So what did you have for breakfast?" he asked.
"I had cereal." I say.
"Thought so." he responses.

We continue for another block then stop to take a break.
"Dammit..." Oikawa says.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
He points to his knees.
Then I remember what Iwaizumi told me. Since Oikawa has been training so hard and long, his knees have gone bad. Iwaizumi told me that I should watch out for when his knees give out. It's only temporary but it still hurts him.
"Are you okay?" I ask, nervously.
"Yea-"
He tries to stand up but almost falls, but catches himself.
"Oikawa, you can't continue, you need to stop!" I say.
"I can continue, I just need to try harder." he says.
"No!" I place him on the bench beside us.
"You can't go any further!" I say.
"Hinata I'm fine-"
"Stay. I'll find someone who can help us." I say.
"Hinata-"
"Please. Stay here." I say, desperately.
He sighs.
"Fine. I'll stay here." he says.
"Thank you. I'll be right back!" I say, running off.

After 10 minutes of looking for someone, I start losing hope. I can't help Oikawa, because of my short body.
"I'm so useless..." I say, starting to cry.
"Hey, get out of the way."
I look up to see a tall man with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Uh..."
"Move." he says again.
He starts to walk past me.
"Wait!" I say.
He looks at me.
I pull out my jacket.
"I'm from Aoba Johsai, and I have someone who's in need of help. Do you mind?" I ask, desperate for this guy to help.
"Aoba Johsai, your from Aoba Johsai, right?" he asks.
"Yes, yes I am." I say.
He turns to face me.
"What's your name?" he asks.
"Shoyo Hinata." I say.
"Wakatoshi Ushijima." he holds out his hand.
I take it.
"So who is this person?" he asks.
"Follow me." I say.
I run while he follows me.
"Oikawa!" I yell, Ushijima not hearing me.
Oikawa looks over.
"Did you find someone?" he asks.
"Yeah!" I say, happily.
"Who?" he asks.
Ushijima shows up behind me.
Oikawa glares at him.
Ushijima glares back.
While I just stand there, confused.
"Is this who you were talking about?" Ushijima asks me.
"Yeah." I say.
"Shut it Ushiwaka." Oikawa growls.
"Your the one to talk." Ushijima responds.
"No I ain't!" Oikawa hisses.
"You wouldn't be in this position if you just came to Shiratorizawa." he says.
"Like hell I would." Oikawa says.
"You would be able to go to nationals." Ushijima says.
"I'll still make it to nationals!" Oikawa tries standing up but clings onto me to stop himself from falling.
"It seems like you have a injury." Ushijima says.
Oikawa growls.
"Stop both of you!" I yell.
They both look at me.
"I don't want problems I just need help!" I say to Ushijima.
"I don't need Ushiwaka's help I-"
I bite Oikawa's hand before he can finish.
"Ow!" he whines.
"You do need help Oikawa!" I say.
He rubs the hand I bit.
"Okay?" I ask.
He sighs.
"Fine. I do need help...can you help me?" he growls at Ushijima.
"Yeah." Ushijima responds.
Ushijima takes one of Oikawa's arms and I take the other.
We walk back to the hotel.
"We're almost there." Oikawa says.
"Alright." Ushijima says.

We continue to walk for another 5 blocks before we see the hotel.
"The hotel!" I say.
"Finally." Oikawa says.
We walk into the hotel.
And we place Oikawa on a chair.
"Thank you for your help." I say.
"Yeah." he says.
"Is there anything we could do to repay you?" I ask.
He looks over to Oikawa.
"Once Oikawa can stand up straighter, I want a practice match after." he says.
Oikawa growls.
"It'll be a two on two match." he says.
"I'll take Iwaizumi with me." Oikawa says.
They stare at each other.
"Then it settled." Ushijima says.
And he walks out the door.
"I can't believe you chose him." Oikawa says.
"You needed help. And I wasn't any good to help you get back to the hotel." I respond.
He stays quiet.
"I'm sorry I'm useless, but I can't help it. It's just who I am." I say.
"Your not useless. Stop saying that." Oikawa says.
"Yes-!"
He grabs my hand and pulls me in closer.
"You are not useless! Stop saying you are! You couldn't be more perfect!" Oikawa yells.
I start crying. He always has been that i-am-more-right friend. And I need more people like that.
I hug him.
"You need to realize that you mean something. Especially to me." Oikawa says.
I sniff.
"What do I mean to you?" I ask. Laying my head on his shoulder.
"Everything." he says.
I feel my face go red. But I smile.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." Oikawa smiles.
