A/N I AM ON A ROLL!!!!!!! And please, I love constructive critisim as long as it is delivered nicely, so if there is anything I can do to make this story even the tiniest bit better I WOULD LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!
I walked out of the room I was sleeping in, my hair in a mess, and in only a pair of sweatpants, and a tank-top leaving my wings exposed to the cool air of the house. I rolled my shoulde blades, and my wings expanded a couple of feet then I heard a door slam shut. My whole body tensed up, and my wings snapped behind my back as I head footsteps coming my way.
"Well I knew that I would be coming home to you still sleeping here, but I never expected to see you only partially dressed when I did." An amused voice said, as Kole rounded the corner. I glared at him, and say queitly so his parents can't hear me.
"Are you able to stall your parents for a few moments while I gather my stuff and get the hell out of here?" The boy chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.
"As wish you." He teased, I raised my eyebrow questioningly seeing as he wasn't moving "My parents take a long time unloading the car." He added. I nodded, and than froze remebering I had nothing covering my beautiful tawny wings hanging off my back.
"Hey..uh...Kole?" I started, I heard a low response and then started again "Can you turn around. If you look back I swear i will kill you." I stated, my voice growling as it got near the end. He rolled his eyes, and turned his back to me. I swallowed, and turned around and raced for the room.
*Kole's POV*
I know she specificly told me not to look, but how can a guy resist looking at such a beautiful girl running back to the saftey of her room. I turn around with a smirk on my, and usaully a guy's mouth drop in a amazment because of the beauty, not because the girl your checking HAS HUGE GIGANTIC FREAKING WINGS ON HER BACK!!! My breath caughtes in my throat as she raced around the corner of the hallway into the room. My body was stiff with shock and amazement. Never in a million years would you imagine to see a girl with wings.
"Hey Kole!! Can you come help unpack the car?" My mom called out to me.
"Uuh..Sure!!" I called back stuttering. I raced out to the garage and started to help lift the bags out of the back of the car. Although to be honest my legs could hardly move since my whole body was stiff with shock. As I lifted the cases into the house, I dropped the others, leaving my own in my hand and walked back to where Destiny was. I rounded the corner, and saw her coming out of the room. I saw her visibly let out tension as her eyes met mine. I flashed a smile, and saw her wings were completly covered by a jacket she was wearing. "You..you uh sure you don't want to stick around? My parents would just think your a girl from school." I stuttered. She let out a small, but sad smile as she shook her head.
"I saw a photo in one of the photo albums you have, I can't do that to you or to her." She said softly. An image of my girlfriend flashed in my mind. Sure she was beautiful, but when you compare her to Destiny all you see is a girl who always complains.
"I..uh..broke up with her a month ago," I said lying, You have thought about breaking up with her before I thought in my mind, so what I said wasn't a complete lie. I saw her eyes light up with happiness, and a sincere smile rose up to my lips.
"Come on, i'll introduce you to my parents, I bet they'll love you." Just like I do..wait..did I just say that..I guess I did. Destiny grinned and I led her to my living room to meet my parents.
*Destiny's POV*
"I..uh..broke up with her a month ago." Kole said, his eyes full of...something. Every single cell in my winged body lit up with happiness.
