A/N I am deciding to stay on Kole's POV to get a bit of his back story, and I think it'd be fun to see his point of view on Destiny's whole wing thing ^-^
"Why did I tell her I saw her wings." I growled to myself, flinging myself onto my bed, my face hitting my pillow. I'm so stupid. I thought to myself bitterly. I flipped over onto my back, staring up at the white ceiling. My head flopped over so that I was looking out into my room. As my eyes flickered around the room, I saw that Destiny had left her jacket laying on my floor. With my heart heavy with sadness, I hopped down onto my floor and picked up her jacket. "Oh Destiny..." I murmured. I heard the hinges of my door creak, and my door opened.
"You alright Kole?" My mom asked softly, peeping her head into my room. I swung my head towards her, sending daggers at her, my eyes wet from my unfallen tears. My mom visibly sighed, and she pushed the door open and walked towards me, pulling me into a hug. "What happened sweetheart?" She asked. I let out a sigh, my arms still by my side.
"Do I like look I'm alright!" I growled, pulling myself away from her, "Wanna know what's wrong? Me still dating Abigal while Destin..." I start, then trailed off not being able to finish her name.
"Sweetie, if you don't want to be with Abigal anymore then don't be, but you can't keep lying to her." She said softly. "And what's this I hear about Destiny?" She asked, her eyes a light with amusement. I glared at her, then a small smile broke through my sadness.
"Nothing.." I mumble. My mom chuckled and started to leave my room.
"Remember Kole, you have to go back to school tomorrow. So pack up your backpack." She told me, and she closed the door softly. As she left my room, I realized I was still holding Destiny's jacket. I smiled softly, and hung it over the back of my chair and walked out of my room to pack up my backpack for tomorrow.

I walked out to the busstop, slinging my backpack back into a comfortable position. The bus rolled to a stop and I climbed up the stairs, sitting down in my normal seat.
"Hey." Said a familiar voice. I looked up and saw my friend Henry slid into my seat.
"Hey." I replied.
"How's life Bro." He said cheekily. A chuckle escaped from both our lips.
"It's been....." I trailed off "Eh."
"What's so 'Eh' about your life?" Henry asked me.
"Do you really want to know the complicated story?" I ask.
"I'm sure I do." He chuckled.
"Alrightly then, well before I left on vacation I walk into my house and see this beautiful girl standing in the middle of my foyer. We talk for a bit, then I leave. I come home a week later and see Destiny walking out of my sister's old room, half dressed."
"Wait..what do you mean 'half-dressed'?" Henry asks.
"Sweatpants, and a tanktop." I chuckle.
"Alright continue."
"Well, after that she goes back into the room to get changed and..." I can't betray her like that. I think before continuing "so after she comes out, I ask her to stay a bit. So she does, and then we get into a fight about a confidential topic, and she goes off. The point of the story, is I think I like her and I'm still dating Abigal, and I really don't feel like breaking Abigal's heart." I finish.
"You messed up big time, man." Henry says with a slight chuckle.
"Please don't say it again." I mumble. The bus halts to a stop, and we file out of the bus.
