"Do you ever think she'll wake up?" A faint voice asked, echoing in the mist.

"I don't know, it was pretty beat up when I found it." Anger surged through me, as my brain processed what the male said. I'm not an it!! I thought iritated. I opened my eyes, and looked at my surroundings. I stood up, and the mist engulfed my body. I then realized what was happening. This was only a dream. I shut my eyes as hard as I could, and willed my body to wake up.

A few moments later, my eyes fluttered open, my vision completely blurred. Panic surged through me, and I struggled to get free. "No No No." I whimpered, as I pulled against the straps that held me down. My breath quickened as my vision cleared up. Pure dread settled in as I saw where I was for the first time. A white room, with tools on one side of the bed. I heard a monitor beeping, and I looked down and wires were scattered in various places on my body. An i-v was stuck in my wrist, and I felt my wings pulled tight on both sides of me. I stopped struggling, and closed my eyes, as the door creaked open and I heard a soft voice's.

"Do you think she's awake yet?" The female voice asked.

"I did see her struggling earlier, but she was acting like that before we strapped her down, so I don't know." A deep voice replied.  I heard the door creak again, and heard heavy footsteps leading out of the room. I opened my eyes again, and I turned my head, and saw a brown haired women still standing in the room. I snapped my head back, and stared at the ceiling.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. I haven't hurt you yet." She said softly.

"Then why am I straped to an opperating table with my wings spread to the side." I asked, my voice breaking.

"Because if we didn't strap you down you would've hurt yourself. You were thrashing around and this was the only way we could get you to calm down." She replied, her voice staying strong. I sighed, and looked at the women again. She was about 5' 6" in height, she had brown eyes, and her hair was a beautiful brown.

"Can you unstrap me please." I asked, my voice coming back to me. The women nodded slightly, and walked over to the opperating table and started unbuckling the straps. Once my wrists were free, pushed myself up. dizzyness washed over me, but the women kept me steady.

"Careful there," The women said, her voice light "WE put you on some heavy sedatives to get you in here, so you'll be dizzy for a little bit." She finished. I nodded, then I suddenly remembered what happened before I woke up. My breath quickened, and I turned my head slowly, and looked at my wings. A sob rose in my throat. Both my wings were bent at an awkward angle, and blood splattered the bandages surrounding my wings. I closed my eyes, and turned my head back around, tearing flooding my eyes. The women sighed, and she walked out of the room, and then the weight of what happened came crashing down on me. With tears running down my cheeks, I turned my body around and I let my body go limp, letting my face crash into the soft pillow, and I cried.
