How did 'Kuroo time' go?

Kuroo is not dating Kenma
Don't make fun of my names 'Kaashi!

Tsukishima not Tsukki.
I don't know honestly. We talked for a bit and went to this cafe we went to as kids. It went better than Bokuto-san's idea though.

Brokuto!! :D
You guys always bully me :'((

Akaashi Keiji
Hey, that's progress. But you're still awkward around eachother right? Even though you apologised?

Tsukishima not Tsukki.

Tsukki? What did you do?

Tsukishima not Tsukki.
I forgot to apologise.

Several people are typing...

When did I get so stupid? I groaned again and threw a pillow across the room, cursing myself over and over again. I forgot to apologise, how rich! I just stared at the influx of messages in capital letters as they yelled at me for being so stupid, as if I didn't already know that. Then, a video call request came up and I answered it.

"You did WHAT???" Came from Bokuto immediately, then immediately all three started talking at once about how dumb that was and how I was an idiot. I grimaced and listened, trying to focus in on Akaashi's voice since his seemed to be the only wise words spoken.

"Bokuto-san, Kuroo-san, quiet." Akaashi raised his voice slightly, making the two third-years shut up. "Tsukishima-san, why didn't you apologise?"

"I told you, I forgot."

"Isn't that like, your main goal here? That beansprout is probably wondering why you haven't apologised to him yet." Kuroo clicked his tongue and shook his head. "For being a nerd you sure are stupid Tsukki."

"Wh-.. alright." I rubbed my neck slightly before looking away. "Just.. Please help me. I want to apologise and I want it to be special. To show that I mean it."

"Then don't plan it."

All of us looked to Akaashi's screen, as today he and Bokuto weren't in the same room.

"Excuse me?"

"Tsukishima-san, you want it to be meaningful right? Don't plan what you're going to say. It's like.. well, you know YouTuber apology videos?" Akaashi seemed a little embarrassed by mentioning it. "They always go wrong because they script it and use words that make it sound ingenuine. If you really mean it, it should come naturally and from the heart."

Kuroo whistled and Bokuto did a little clap, making Akaashi frown lightly from embarrassment.

"Preach, 'Kaashi, preach!" Kuroo snickered before smirking at me. "Setter's right though, you gotta mean it and the best way to show it is to go all natural."

"Yeah bro! Just wing it!" Bokuto whooped, holding two thumbs-up at the screen. "But like, in a good way."

"Tsukki, you have the playoffs soon right? To get to nationals?" Kuroo put his arms behind his head as he leaned back. "I saw the recording of the beansprout's attempted float serve last time. I know he's gotten better, but you'd better fix this soon. The stress of the match and the stress of just, you, will probably throw him off his game more than usual."

I gulped a little. I hadn't thought of that.
Yamaguchi was... fragile. I hadn't told them about his bullying problem because they weren't close to him like Yachi was, but thinking about what Kuroo said.. that added stress would definitely hurt his game.

"Kur-bro, shut up or Tsukki's gonna cry." Bokuto broke me out of my trance, Kuroo's snicker following after it.

"I'm not going to cry." I murmured, staring at the trio with a short nod.

"Sure ya ain't." Kuroo winked, making me roll my eyes. "Anyway, don't worry about it. You're gonna be just fine after you apologise, right?"

"Right. Because you're going to apologise." Akaashi added in, making us all quiet down.
"As soon as possible."

There was silence between the four of us before I gave a nod, fixing my glasses.
"Right."

Then, Akaashi smiled.
"Keep us updated, Tsukishima-san. I have homework to finish, so I'll be going now."

Me, Bokuto and Kuroo all chimed a 'goodbye' before Akaashi left. Then, as if by some joined force, me and Kuroo looked to Bokuto's screen with equally bored expressions.

"You're whipped bro."

"Whipped." I agreed, both of us nodding as Bokuto just rubbed his neck in embarrassment.

"Bro who wouldn't be! Akaashi's so pretty. Have you seen his eyes dude? They're like... woah!"

I cringed at the use of words while Kuroo merely shrugged.
"You're starting to sound like Hinata."

"I am his favourite senpai after all~" Bokuto hummed and I raised a brow, thinking of how pissed off Tanaka and Nishinoya would be after hearing that.

"Ah ah ah, but we all know who Tsukki's favourite senpai is hmmm?" Kuroo smirked, head in his hands as he grinned at me.

"Sugawara-san." I answered blankly, watching in satisfaction as his expression dropped and he clutched his shirt where his heart was.

"So mean! You don't even call him senpai!"

"And I don't call you senpai either, Kuroo-san."
We heard Bokuto snicker and that made me grin while Kuroo merely groaned.
"Bokuto-san, when are you going to stop flirting with Akaashi-san? You're as bad as Hinata and Kageyama y'know."

"Huh? I don't flirt with him?"

"Exactly. As bad as Hinata and Kageyama." I rolled my eyes, enjoying the pleasant conversation. I sat up though as a message from Hinata popped up, simply telling me to answer the phone.
"Ah.."

"Tsukki? What's up?" Kuroo must've noticed my change in attitude, because now he and Bokuto were staring at me.

"Hinata wants me to 'pick up the phone'." I quoted, feeling unease in the pit of my stomach. "Hang on, I'll be back-"

"Add him to the call." Kuroo shrugged, sitting back as Bokuto nodded in agreement. "Do it."

I don't know why I chose to actually do as I was told, but before I'd realised it I'd invited Hinata to the video call. Not even a few moments later he appeared on the screen, Kageyama peering over his shoulder. They both wore equally surprised expressions as they realised the two Tokyo captains were also in the call.

"Uh.. hello Bokuto-san." Hinata blinked, glancing at me for a second. "We didn't know you and Kuroo-san would be here."

"Don't worry about it, Kuroo said he could add you." Bokuto held a thumbs-up.
Hinata and Kageyama shared a quiet look before Kageyama got up and left, saying something about a pork bun. Hinata shifted in his seat awkwardly, coughing into his hand.

"Actually, it wasn't all that important. Never mind!" Hinata gave a big grin and went to leave the call-

"No." Kuroo was still sat back with his arms behind his head, staring at Hinata's screen with a slight smirk on his face. "Go on, I'm sure it's quite important."
I decided not to question why Kuroo was being so nice, because he's probably say something stupid like 'I'm always this kind'. Instead I just watched Hinata, currently quiet.

"Well.. Yamaguchi just wanted to say thanks for buying the fries.." Hinata hesitated, glancing to the captains and seemingly looking for Kageyama before looking back to me.
"But... you're not sorted yet."

There was another awkward silence before Hinata nodded.
"Ah.. see you at the nationals, Kuroo-san and Bokuto-san. Bye bye!" He gave a little wave before quickly exiting the call.

Kuroo clicked his tongue, looking to me.
"You're fucked."
