I yawned. Pagdating ko sa bahay ay nakita ko si Mom na mag-isa lamang sa living room. She was currently typing something on her laptop, probably office works.

Kaya hindi ko kinuha ang opportunidad na mamahala sa kompanya eh, Masyado kasing mahirap. Ayoko namang tumanda nang maaga dahil sa stress 'no!

I scanned our place to find Dad but I think he's not here. Naglakad ako palapit kay mom at hinalikan ang pisngi niya. Mukhang nagulat pa siya sa pagdating ko. She immediately closed her laptop before I could take a look at it.

"Good evening Mom..." She glanced at her watch, checking the time.

"Sinong naghatid sa'yo anak? Gabi na ah?" Agad akong namula sa tanong niya. Memories suddenly flashed through my mind because of her questions.

Sasabihin ko ba sa kaniya na si Thad ang naghatid sa akin? But, I'm afraid she'll tell it to Daddy. Maybe I should keep this to myself for now.

"Laurean's driver brought me home Mom, kumain na po kayo?" I diverted our topic.

Hindi ko gustong pag usapan ang mga nangyari ngayong gabi dahil baka madulas pa ako at may masabi ako kay Mom.

"Hindi pa sweetie, tatapusin ko muna ang ginagawa ko. You should go upstairs and rest, may pagkain diyan sa ref kung gutom ka." Somehow I felt sad because of Mom. I understand that she needs to finish her work but sana hindi naman umabot sa panahong i-si-skip niya ang pagkain. That's bad for her health.

"Kumain na din po kayo Mom, huwag po kayong magpagutom. Goodnight, love you." Sakto namang pagbukas ko ng pinto sa aking kuwarto ay tumunog ang phone ko na nasa loob ng bulsa.

I immediately closed the door and throw myself to the bed and clicked the green button on my phone to answer the call.

"Hello?" Pinaliit ko ang boses ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko ginawa 'yon. Nasisiraan na ata ako nang ulo dahil sa Thaddeus na 'to eh.

I heared his baritone laugh on the other line.

"Is there something to laugh at? Hmm, Thad?" I asked softly.

"What? No, no, natawa lang ako sa boses mo. So you saved my number huh?" I frowned. Kinuha ko kasi ang phone niya kanina.

Wala, I just checked his lock screen and wallpaper, and I immediately blushed when I saw it.

"Hindi 'no! I am expecting someone's call at hindi ikaw 'yon asa ka pa" I lied. Let's see if he'll get jealous because of this.

"And who's that someone hmm? Someone special?" I immediately bit my lower lip to prevent myself from squealing.

"You could say that..." Hindi siya sumagot. I could only hear his breath on the other line. Hindi ko na mapigilan ang pagtawa ng dahil sa kaniya. Marupok na kung marupok wala akong pake.

"Baby, you're bullying me that's bad..." He coed. And I heared him pouting.

Oh my gosh! I can imagine Thad looking at me while pouting.That just looks so adorable!

Mabuti nga at hindi kami magkasama ngayon dahil baka mahalikan ko pa siya. Sasagot na sana ako sa kaniya ng may marinig akong babae na nagsasalita.

"Thad—"

"Hon, let's shower tama na 'yan!" Kumunot ang noo ko. I know that fucking voice! I gritted my teeth in annoyance.

Bago pa may masabi si Thad ay agad kong tinapon ang phone ko sa sahig dahil sa galit. I just tend to act out of impulse when I get mad.
