Guysssss I fucking love this chapter ughhhh you don't understand

this is one of if not my favorite chapter I've written

Eeeeeek

So at the beginning of each of the next couple chapters I'm gonna put these little paragraphs about the six stages of falling in love

It'll make sense once you see it I swear

I found it on tumblr and thought it appropriate

The song that actually inspired this chapter is a daydream away by all time low but the rest of the context doesn't make sense bc it's about being attracted to a friend but not ruining the friendship so....

You guys are gonna be soooooo excited

OH AND DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE SWEATSHIRT DAX STOLE FROM MILAN? THE ONE THAT HAS HIS NAME ON THE BACK? THAT SHE SLEEPS WITH EVERY NIGHT?

YEAH WELL MY MOM GOT ME THAT FOR CHRISTMAS AND I WAS SO HAPPY I ALMOST PISSED MYSELF

Anyway I highly recommend listening to the song suggestions so here they are:
•Chasing cars by snow patrol
•heart like yours by wilamette stone
•do you remember by Jack Johnson
•because of you by Neyo
•better together by Jack Johnson
•just a boy by angus and Julia stone

Enjoy !!!

The six stages of falling in love with her:

One. You see her for the first time and she'll walk right past you like you are a crack in the wall and she is a skyscraper with her head so high in the air and when you can't sleep you'll think about the way her eyes strayed into yours for a moment too long before breaking away and disappearing into the crowd of people.

Milan's POV
It was a couple hours later, and everyone except Greg and Katie was gone. I certainly didn't mind; Greg and Katie were two of my favorite people in the world. As they were getting up to go, I grabbed Greg's arm.

"I need to talk to you," I said in a low voice. Greg nodded. I pulled him into the computer room, looked around for Dax and Katie, and then shut the door.

"What's up, Looch?" Greg asked, leaning casually against the doorframe.

"I need your help picking out a ring," I told him bluntly.

"For what? For Dax?" he asked, his eyes wide. I nodded.

"I don't wanna lose her again. I can't lose her again. I uh...." I scratched the back of my head. "I'm gonna ask Dax to marry me."

"Alright. Yeah. When do...when do you wanna go look for her?" he asked.

"Um...I'm thinking maybe next month or so? I don't know, but I just...I finally understood something. When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you just...you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible, ya know?" I asked. He nodded. "I can't risk losing Dakota again, Greg."

"Just let me know when, and I will be right there by your side. Why, out of curiosity, do you need my help?" he grinned crookedly.

"I've never done anything like this before! I don't know what to do! I don't know what a French oval picked diamond is!" I explained frantically. Greg laughed.

"That's not a thing, Milan," he pointed out.

"See, Soup? I'm absolutely hopeless. Hopeless!" I exclaimed. He laughed again.
