Walang kaso sa kanya 'to. Having a child out of bad circumstances is...she don't know. Happiness, shocking, overwhelming, heartwarming? Name it, kasi walang mas gagandang salita ang masasabi dahil sa nararamdaman niya ngayon. She's utterly fascinated. This is so unexpected, no one knows, well, except her mother who raised her...daughter.

“I understand that you cannot accept her yet cuz she's-”

“No, I accepted her the moment you stated the truth. I love her since I saw her, she's my daughter. Why would you say that, Ma? Who stupid mother to abandon her child like that...”

Marahang tumango ang Ina. “I know these things shocked you. You didn't anticipated anything like this, I'm sorry.”

Napapaypay si tita Meira sa mukha pero walang sinabi. Gano'n 'din ang asawang tahimik lang kanina pa.

Mariin siyang pumikit. “I want an  explanation to this. I'm not mad, mama. Pero naguguluhan ako, madami akong tanong...please, just tell me.”

She stared at the girl at the floor just meters away from them, she's happily playing with her toys. And as if someone who noticed that she's been looked, the girl fleet her gaze at their direction. Her daughter. Her heart ache rose when she looked at their daughter, hindi nila nasubaybayan ang paglaki nito sa nagdaang taon at pinagsisihan niya 'yun. But there's no point in regretting anymore. Nangyari na ang nangyari, 'di na maibabalik.

Camelia Thyrene smiled cutely and then waved her hand. Trent is on her side, gazing at their daughter too. Madilim ang expresyon at nakatitig lang. His jaw clenched too.

“I remember how shocked I am when the doctor said you're carrying a baby. The collision was not hard enough but it's still a collision and the baby might...” her mother sighed. 

“You're  critical, Clarion, and the baby too. Na comatose ka at may bata sa sinapupunan, you're under surgery at may mga tubong nakakabit sayo to secure your life. I don't know what to do that time. I was devastated. Mabuti at nando'n si Doctor Dracco para personal kang matignan sa buong durasyon na nakaratay ka. I was praying for your consciousness, and I can't bare to lose two important person. You and your daughter.”

Her tears fall numerously. Her vision blurred, walang lakas upang pahiran ang luhang patuloy na tumutulo.

“N-no'ng nanganib ang buhay mo almost seven months ago since you're in coma, napilitan kaming e-c-section ka dahil sa nangyari. Thankfully, the baby survived. She was a miracle baby. Alam ko na noon na may kakaiba sa aksidente mo kaya pinili kong ipalaki si Camelia sa Switzerland with the help of our trusted people.” isang malutong na hikbi ang pinakawalan ng mama.

“S-switzerland?”

The scar on her stomach? That is?

“Yes, remember last month of my visit? I'm not there to have fun, I am visiting my granddaughter. Alam kung kasalan ko na hindi niyo siya nakilala pero wala akong pinagsisihan. When you woke up from coma, you're not in good state. Baka magtaka ka at halukayin ang nakaraan sa pamamagitan ni Camelia at baka mag break down ka ulit kaya hindi ko sinabi.
