“Let's just go.” pamimilit ni Clarion kay Trent na nakaupo lang at nakaharap sa Laptop.
Sa katunayan, gusto niyang mag grocery although she knew that it's unnecessary. The hotel can provide everything she wanted, but she also wants to use this wide private of a suite for her convenience at nagsasawa na siyang mag stay dito, though maganda, wide at cozy at nasa pinakatuktok pa ng hotel nakakabored parin. That's why she wants to cook and buy ingredients herself.
“No. It's dangerous. We can't risk that.” seryoso itong nakatingin sa Laptop.
Umiling siya. Parang batang nagmamaktol.
“Nah. I'm totally fine alright? Tsaka nag surf naman tayo nong isang araw bakit ngayun ayaw mo kong palabasin? Grocery lang.” she rolled her eyes.
Crossed arms. Naiirita na siya. Bakit ba ayaw siya nitong payagan.
He eyed her while putting his hands below his chin.
“Safety comes first, Clarion at baka mapagod ka sasakit na naman ulo mo. If you want something just ask me and the hotel will provide. Magpahinga ka na.” yumuko ito at nagtipa.
Inis na inis na siya. Kaya padabog siyang tumayo at nameywang.
“If you won't let me, I don't need your permission. I will let myself instead, I'm giving her a permission to go grocery.” she stand up and harshly, hinahamon ang binata and took her back at him.
“What? Damn it!” narinig niyang may nahulog.
“Wait for me, damn!”
Napangisi siya. Ganun lang pala. That's a wise technique, huh?
“Anong ginagawa mo?”
“I'm coming with you.” napangisi siya ulit.
Good. Kung tutuusin gusto naman talaga niyang makasama mag grocery ang binata kaya niya kinulit.
“What do you think, this one or this one?”
She asked Trent in glee while lifting the meat. He is now pushing their cart.
“1 kilo or 2? Hmm?” she caress her chin. “I'll make it two. It's better kung marami kesa kulang.” inilagay niya ang napili sa cart.
She walked again. Nakasunod lang sa kanya ang binata habang may konting ngiti sa labi.
“Should you buy this?” turo nito sa sahog.
“Great! I forgot.”
Halos nilibot na nila ang grocery store sa mall. Whatever thing that captures her eyes will be on the cart, since Trent volunteered to pay and she did enjoy this grocery thing. Although it takes a lot of energy because of too much walking nilubos-lubos na niya dahil baka di na magawa ito sa susunod, he can really be protective and takes care for his responsibility passionately.
“Clarion?” someone called and got her attention. “Huh?”
It's the guy from the beach last time, he's wearing a blue tee-shirt and faded jeans. Simply yet dazzling.
“Oh hi, Jareud right?” the guy smiled.
“Yep. What are you doing here?” he smiles at her are genuinely.
