chapter 2

as caroline road down the street on her lilac colored penny board with the wind in her hair she was having the time of her life. that all stopped when she saw some dirt bikes ahead of her. she swerved to the left to get out of their way but then she noticed they started to slow down. great. she thought to herself. as the two boys got off their bikes caroline continued riding until they shouted at her. she got off as they walked towards her. she knew exactly who it was...

"rafe...what are you doing?" she said. it was rafe and barry. both of them, low life losers who she tried not to involve herself with.
"h-hey caroline!" rafe said. barry jus put up to fingers as a hello signal. she just nodded her head at him.
"so u-uh what are you doing out?" rafe stumbled.
"i'm on my way to hang out with friends."
"your not hanging out with any of those pogues right?" he asked.
"uh ya actually i am." she said with slight attitude. she knew that rafe hated the pogues. especially JJ because of the way him and caroline were.
"damn...uh well uh that's a shame because um there's actually a really fun party going on right now."
"right now? it's 11" she said without expression.
"uh-well. n-not exactly right no-now. but like tonight." something was up with rafe. he was tweaking out. he could barely speak to caroline and barry caught on.
Caroline looked over rafes shoulder to see barry laughing to himself about how much he was struggling to talk to a girl.
"alright. well uh let me know about the party later and i'll see if i have time on my schedule." caroline winked, which obviously flustered rafe because he got red and looked at the ground.
"yea, yea. of course. so um i'll like text you or something." he said.
"yea.. ok." caroline said rolling her eyes playfully. she put her board back on the ground and pushed off.
"man...you gotta work on that man." barry said.
"on what?"
"talking to girls man. your stubblin over every word bro."
"nah bro i got my shit straight talking to girls man. it's just i need help talkin to angles." he laughed.
garry looked at rafe and shook his head "alr country club, let's go."

as caroline road up to john b's house she grabbed her board and walked up to the porch which john b and JJ were chillin on. JJ spotted her immediately.
"woah!! hot girl approaching!!" he yelled while laughing. john b looked over and saw caroline and smiled.
"what's up Line"
"hello boys." she smiled.
"mamas lookin hot today!" JJ smiled.
"aw thanks baby." caroline said smiling giving him a playful kiss on the cheek.
"ew you guys are gross." JB said making a gagging noise.
"buddies just jealous." jj said laughing. caroline smiled looking between the two and then walked over to john b giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"there now you don't have to be jealous john b"
"ah, why thank you" he said laughing.
"hey! that's mine!" JJ said getting up and putting an arm around caroline's waist.
"hey man! she kissed me." JB said putting his arms up in defense.
"you guys are so childish" caroline said walking away from JJs embrace. which hurt JJ a little bit, but he let it go.
"so boys what's the plan for today?" she asked
"well my lady, we are going to get on our lovely boat and zoom our way over to Popes place and then to Kies restaurant and pick up both of them. then we are going to have the time of our lives on the MHS pogue. and then maybe do a little surfing and then come back here and get highhhh." jj said dragging out the last word.
"sounds like a great plan to me." caroline drank, and smoked very little weed. she did it maybe once a month. she absolutely hated the smell. but somehow she still managed to think jj smelt good.
"alright then, let's go." john b said. as all three of them walked down to the dock they got onto the boat. JB got on first then JJ. JJ turned around and offered his hand to Caroline.
"thank you sir"
"of course beautiful" something like this is normal for jj to say but this time caroline felt something in her stomach. caroline quickly went the the front of the boat and sat down with her feet hanging over the edge. after a few minutes she felt heat on her back. she turned around to see jj standing behind her.
"hi" she said innocently with a smile.
"hi" he responded. "move" he suggested. caroline got up and he sat down. she sat on his lap. they were talking about random things when the water started to get choppy and the boat was bobbing up and down. jj knew what was going to happen so he had to do something fast. he put his hands around her waist and whispered into her ear.
"get up." this sent shivers down her spine. she knew what was happening so decided to play a game with him. she turned her head slowly and whispered into his ear "why? are the bumps making you excited?" she said in a quiet voice. his voice seemed to be caught in his throat because he didn't say anything for a while. he definitely wasn't ready for that and could already tell he would be growing soon.(gross omg. i'm gonna throw up)
"get up, please." he said through a close jaw.
"aww oh my god. you are getting excited! hahaha." she put her nail to his chest.
"stop." he said firmly.
"make me." caroline said knowing what she had just done. that's when jj stood up caroline in his arms and jumped into the water.
"dude are fucking serious" john b said stopping the boat. as they came up from the water caroline slapped jj in the chest.
"asshole!" she laughed
"hey, you said make me." he said as they swam over to the boat. john b helped jj up and then jj offered his hand to her.
caroline slipped her wet clothes off and noticed jj staring at her.
"what?" she questioned. as jj stumbled over his words he finally said "need some help?" he smirked.
"ugh you perv." she said turning around
"even better view" jj said while staring at her ass. caroline scuffed and walked towards john b who was also a little flustered by the girl in her bathing suit. no JB didn't like caroline in that way. but i mean literally anyone who looked at her in a bathing suit would be flustered.
"hiii" she said with a smile.
"what's up" he said. they were just talking about random things and then jj showed up and they were having a good time. soon they docked at Popes place and there he was. sweeping the deck.
"hey Pope!" caroline said.
"hi caro baby" he responded. caroline loved that nickname.
"hey pope, get in!" jj shouted.
"actually he can't. he's working." popes dad said coming out of their store.
"aw come on pope just get in" jj whisper yelled.
"please can we just take your son. we will bring him back safely. i promise" john b said.
"ya come on sir. please!" caroline pleaded.
"no. no. no. no way. he's got to work!" he said.
"pope just get in!" john b said.
"hey. you listen to me-" he was cut off by pope jumping in the boat. a bunch of yes's and yay's were expressed.
"really? pope get back here!" he shouted.
"i'm sorry sir! he'll be safe with us!" caroline shouted.
"really caroline?! your the only friend i actually like and this is what you do to me?"
"i'm so sorry!" caroline says trying to laugh as they drive away.
"next up the wreck!" pope calls out. he then noticed that caroline and jj's hair was wet.
"you guys already get in?" he questioned.
"jj pushed me" she said glaring at jj. he was just laughing. as they pulled up to kies place she was walked down the dock.
"hello everyone" she said smiling.
"heyyy!" caroline said. as pope helped her into the boat. caroline was handed a beer and this is how their wonderful day started.
