a couple months have passed and the pogues have started their senior year in high school. they all spent the day before school, laughing, crying, and enjoying everything that they might not be able to have in the next couple months.
jj took caroline to homecoming. pope took kiara. john b took sarah cameron. which topper was not very happy with.
their last halloween together had passed. they tried to go trick or treating but no one would give them candy, they all said that they were too old. so caroline went to the store and bought two huge bags of candy and the group ate till they wanted to throw up.
jjs birthday passed. john bs birthday passed. as did popes. and caroline's. kies birthday was in january though.
rafe and caroline got closer. as friends is what caroline would say but rafe was working towards something else. jj began to stand the boy. he didn't like him, that's for sure. but he could stand him. topper and jj still have a terrible relationship. topper takes his anger about sarah and john b out on caroline. she's learned to ignore topper and all of his comments about her.
caroline has talked to William Miller more often about the modeling job. she will have to move to L.A on december 27th.
today was december 20th.

caroline woke up at 10:03 and got out of bed. she immediately shivered at the cold air on her skin. she walked into her bathroom and turned on the shower. the steaming hot water hit her skin and she inhaled. she couldn't believe it. it 7 short days she would be gone. she wouldn't be able to wake up and drive to john bs and hang out with her best friends and the love of her life. she wouldn't be able to do that anymore. and she dreaded thinking about that. her eyes began to water and as soon as that tear slipped down her face, she broke down. tears were rolling down her face and she couldn't stop them. her back hit the wall and she slowly slid down to the floor. she brought her knees to her chest and sat there and cried for what felt like hours upon hours.
the girl finally worked up the courage to turn off the shower and continue getting ready. she blew dry her hair and walked out to her closet.

she put on this outfit and grabbed her wallet and phone and headed down stairs. she ran into her father who was leaving for work just as she got to the bottom of the stairs. "hey monkey." he said. "hey." she responded. "are you done packing?" "uhm, no. not yet." "well then, where are you going?" "to hang out with my friends." she said hoping her father would let her leave.
he took a deep breath and said "ok. just make sure you are packed before the 25th." "ok i will. promise!" she said smiling. she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran outside to her car.
