Unswerving Desire [ON-GOING]

Chapter 2

I immediately picked up my bag when our professor dismissed us. I need to go to the gym right away kase we still have to practice some tunts. I was about to go out from the classroom when Juliana, one of my classmate, pulled my arm.

I hissed and looked at her as if I'm going to kill her. Ang kapal ng mukha para hawakan yung braso ko! Gosh! Ano siya sinswerte?

"What's your problem?" agad na utas ko

"Wow! you really had the guts to ask me huh what's my problem?? Are you fucking serious??!" galit na utas niya

I rolled my eyes and looked at her with no emotions at all. "Look, you're really wasting my time. I have to go." saad ko at aalis na sana nang bigla siyang sumigaw.

"You're a bitch!!!! I'm going to kill you!!" saad niya at agad akong sinugod

I prepared myself for some war and immediately pulled her hair when she was about to touch my face. Agad kong inilayo ang mukha ko sakanya para di niya maabot ang mukha ko. Good thing that I'm taller than her and  the length of my hair is just above my breast. So she can't easily pulled it. I won't let her try anyway. Masisira pa yung buhok.

Agad siyang kinuha at nilayo ng mga kaibigan niya saakin. A glint of triumph lit my gaze the moment I saw her face na halos matakpan na ng buhok niya. For sure mahihirapan siyang suklayin ang buhok niya dahil sa pagkabuholbuhol nito. Serves her right! Kilalanin niya muna kase iyong kakalabanin niya.

"You're a freak! Inutusan mo si Prince na ibreak ako!! You told him to do it right so that the two of you could start flirting!!"  hysterical na sabe ni Juliana habang inaalo ng mga alipores niya

I shrugged my shoulders and flipped my hair. "I don't know what you're talking about. All I know is that I told him that I can just flirt with him if he's already single. I never asked him to dump you."  I answered

Pinagpag ko ang uniform ko at inirapan siya bago umalis. I went to the gym right away and I saw Prince smiling at me, kakatapos lang ata nila mag practice ng basketball, he's one of the varsity in Basketball. He texted me the other day, I don't know where he got my number but he asked me if he could flirt with me and I answered him with the one I told Juliana awhile ago pero syempre it was just a joke, I'm still not allowed to flirt with anyone else unless I'm already in legal age. Besides I only have 3 months left before I could enjoy those hottie guys who willingly offer their selves to me.

"Hey!" bati niya saakin na nakangiti

I stopped walking in front of him. "Take your girlfriend back. She's going crazy. Ako yung sinisi kung bat ka nakipagbreak sakanya. Gosh! Just let her stay away from me before I would ruin her face. And you, stop trying to flirt with me."  prangkang sagot ko at pumunta na sa mga Teammates ko

I changed my uniform and wore a black leggings and a pink sport bra. I'm confident enough to flaunt my body so di na ako nagabala na magtshirt. Besides I need to show some skin kase ang init, sagabal lang yung t-shirt kung magsusuot man ako.

"Hey, V!!" lumingon ako at nakita ko si Sashi na tumatakbo papalapit saakin. She's now wearing her practice attire.

"Hey! I missed you!! " saad ko at ginawaran siya ng hug pagdating niya sa harap ko

Sashi is one of my best friend, actually tatlo kame. So we're like Trio, we were best friends since we were in high school. I missed her and Dea kase madalang nalang kame nagkikita, we were all busy of school projects and other stuff. Buti nga at kasali din tong si Sashi sa cheerleading so mas madalas ko siyang nakikita compared to Dea. Though we may not see each other everyday but when we do, grabe yung overnight namin it's like literal na walang tulugan yung nangyayare.

"I missed you too!! I saw Dea kanina and she invited us to go to her condo this Saturday or sunday, it's up to us when we're free." masayang balita ni Sashi

"Sure, that's noted already!!" agad na sagot ko

I can't wait to go in Dea's condo. It's been awhile narin since we went there. The last time we had an overnight sa condo niya, we all got fucking wasted! Though we really had fun that night so no regrets at all even though hangover really sucks.

"Anyway, I heard sinugod ka daw ni Juliana. Is it true?!" agad na usisa nito

Tumawa ako at tinali yung buhok ko. Any moment from now, our coach would blow his whistle, signal us to start going to our places.

"Yep, sinugod niya ako kanina. Ang kapal ng mukha. Gosh! Bat ba ako aawayin niya 'e I never asked Prince dump her for me." sagot ko at umirap

"True! Hay nko buti nalang wala kami ni Dea doon kundi nako baka niresbakan ka na namin!" nanggigil na sabe nito

Tumawa ako sabay halukipkip. "I can handle her anyway."

We ran to our places when our coach blew his whistle. Agad namin prinaktis yung mga dance steps. Seems like Coach is not in a good mood today dahil ilang beses kaming napagalitan at pinabalik-balik sa pagexcute ng mga steps dahil sa hindi pagsabay-sabay.

"Come on, Vanessa! Stretch your leg higher!! What did I told you?! Again! From the top!!"   sigaw ni Coach

Nahiya akong bumalik sa dati kong pwesto dahil minention talaga iyong pangalan ko ng coach namin. Nilibot ko ang paningin ko at nakitang may iilang mga basketball varsity na nanunuod sa practice namin. I can't give them the impression na di ako magaling so I did all my very best para di na masita ni Coach. I remembered everything that he told me at agad ipinakita ang gilas ko sa pag gawa ng tunts and lastly I did my pose.

"That one!! Good job, Vanessa!! Keep it up!"   halos napangiti ako nang marinig ang sinabe ni Coach

Agad akong tumalon at sinalo ako agad ng mga teammates ko. Well I'm one of the flyer, nasa gitna ako so that's why all the pressure was on me.

We gathered infront of our coach. It's already 7pm, it's our dismissal time. Ngumiwi ako pagkatapos mag-inat, my body is so tired and it's aching so badly. Paano naman kase we don't have a practice for 3 days. Noong friday till sunday kaya siguro ganito yung katawan ko.

"Tomorrow we won't be having a practice. But the day after tomorrow, we'll be doing the rehearsal already and I'm going to pin point those people na di umaayos sa pagexcute. And also, always remember your diet. Especially sa tatlo nating flyer para di na kayo mahirapan na tumalon at di naman mahirapan yung sasalo sa inyo. " saad ni Coach

Paika-ika akong tumayo habang hawak ko ang bag ko. Lumakad ako papalapit kay Sashi na hinihintay rin ako para sabay na kame umalis.

"Oh para kang napilayan niyan ah." pangaasar niya saakin

"Gosh! Ang sakit kaya ng katawan ko." saad ko

It's really true! I think I might be needing lots of salonpas tonight. Parang masyadong nabinat yung katawan ko kaya ganito. Suddenly I regretted kung bat di nalang ako nag warm up bago nagpractice.

"Sure ka ba na okay ka lang dito? We can just drop you at your subdivision." tanong saakin ni Sashi

We're already in the first gate and I'm still trying to contact my Mom dahil wala pa sa parking lot yung driver namin. While Sashi's driver is already here. She doesn't want to leave me here kaya she asked me that she can just drop me off but I refused. Kung iddrop pa nila ako I still have to walk inside till I can arrive to our house and based on my situation today, I don't think I could survive walking.

"Okay then, take care." hinalikan ako ni Sashi sa pisngi at umalis na.
