Unswerving Desire [ON-GOING]

Chapter 6

I yawn while looking at my professor in front. Goodness. It's so boring. I just want to go to the gym and practice. Nakalumbaba lang ako habang pilit nilalabanan ang antok ko.

Well this is my last subject so I just have to endure 15 minutes more before our class will dismissed. Naramdaman kong may kumalabit sa likod ko so I turned my head around to check if who was it.

"Ah Vanessa pinabibigay ni Paolo." my classmate handed me out an emerald green invitation card so I took it from his hand.

"Thanks.." saad ko and then I saw Paolo waving at me outside. I smiled and mouthed him my thank you. Agad siyang nag okay sign and then winked at me.

May narinig pa akong kinikilig na mga classmate na babae ko but I just shrugged my shoulders because first, sanay na ako sa itsura ni Paolo. I mean he's really a good-looking guy but so what, It's not really a big deal and second, I'm not like them who praise guy's looks. That's not me, it's actually the other way around, guys praise me of my looks instead.

I opened the invitation and just exactly what I thought, may party na naman magaganap sa resort nila. Well it's his birthday so since he likes me that much so as expected, I'm invited. I should get ready when I get home. The party will happen this Friday so dapat ready na ako ngayon gabi so that I would still have the time tomorrow to buy everything I need for the party.

When our professor looked at his watch, he then, announced that we're dismissed so agad kong nilagay ang invitation card sa bag ko and immediately stand up. I went outside already para pumunta na sa gym. While I was on my way there may narinig akong mga babae naguusap sa may bandang gazebo.

"I mean girl!! Legit ang gwapo niya kanina! Kakalabas niya lang ata sa office 'e!"

"Really?? Omg! Sayang di ko siya nakita!"

Umirap lang ako at di na sila initindi. What's new with them? Parang bago sakanila makakita ng gwapo. Anyway it's actually not a big deal di sguro sila sanay makakita ng gwapo or what.

Like I care, it's not my business.

Pagdating ko sa gym nakita kong kaunti palang mga teammates ko ang nandun. "Hey Vanessa! Good thing nandito ka na." agad na sabe ng isa kong teammate

I arched my brows at nakahalukipkip na nakatingin sakanya. "Yeah? Anong meron?"

Agad siyang nagulat at para bang di siya makapaniwala sa sinabe ko. Like duh! I don't have an idea what's happening and the way she just announced that I am here, seems like she meanr something else.

"Girl! Seriously di mo alam?!" gulat niya pang utas

I rolled my eyes and at lumakad papunta sa locker room namin. She's just wasting my time. Like I wouldn't asked if I know what she's trying to say. 

"Hoy sandali lang ang sungit! Well kase may gwapo na pupunta dito sa court tapos manunuod daw saatin."  saad nito at talagang hinabol pa ako sa locker room as if what she just said will make me feel extremely excited.

What's new kung may gwapong manunuod saamin? 'E minsan nga pag nagpapractice kame may mga basketball players kaming kasabay at nanunuod din ng practice namin.

"So? Anong meron?" bored na sagot ko at kinuha ang practice attire ko

I heard her scoffed. "Ang sungit namin. Anyway just saying so galingan mo mamaya ha! Bye labas na ako!" saad nito at lumabas na

Umiling ako and I looked at her, well it's Bea no wonder ang daldal. She's already used of my attitude na maldita, as what they said. Bea is actually not bad at all, she gets kinda bitchy sometimes but not really like me. Anyway I don't care sa sinasabe niyang gwapo and I always do my best during our practices regardless kung may gwapong nakatingin o wala.
