Ryan's POV

I watched Sabi tear up and try not to cry while holding our beautiful son in her arms.

"Of course I'll marry you!" She said then hugged me tightly. We heard footsteps and turned to see Marvin with a sleepy confused look on his face.

"What the heck is a baby doing here?" Sabi and I looked at each other then at Marvin, seeing the gears in his head slowly begin to turn.

"No way! Y'all had the baby and didn't even call me?!"

"You were asleep and Sabi left a note explaining everything."

"You had time to write a note?" Marvin asked, turning to Sabi.

"No! I had written it before and packed a bag for the hospital."

"Plus dude, we have been in the hospital for a few days." I said.

Sensing the worry, Sabi chimed in, "Everything is fine, the doctors said it was standard protocol to keep the baby and we decided to stay in case of anything."

"Okay, that's good. I would've called to see where you guys were but I've been feeling so weak lately."

Now that he mentioned it, he did look weak. His skin looked pale, he could barely hold himself up so he had to use the wall and he looked really thin like he hadn't eaten.

"Marvin, you don't look so good. Come sit on the couch while I make you some food." Sabi offered. She handed Luca to his uncle and disappeared into the kitchen.

We were both tired but also hungry so she got two plates from the cupboard and we ate at the table. She offered to make Marvin something but he said he was going to play with the baby. I didn't want to leave Luca's side, but Sabi insisted he would be fine and so I eventually gave in and went to eat.

I was so happy that she said yes! I mean not that I had a doubt, but now we could be one happy family. I glanced at the clock, 2:30AM. It broke my heart to think this might be the last time I was with them. I really wished Vanessa was here, she would know what to do.

Vanessa's POV

I looked at the clock in the room and it read 10:30PM. I had 15 minutes before I could finally go home. I honestly can't wait.

Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked. No answer.

I walked to the door and looked out the peephole. No one was there.

I wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible and it really helped that none of the stuff in my room were actually mines. Whatever that was about I wouldn't let it stop me from leaving. The conversation I had with Rose kept playing over in my head but I tried to push the thoughts away, focus on getting out of here.

I checked my pocket and made sure I had the spell Rose had given me and walked out the door. Christian was waiting down the hall and staring in my direction. God please don't let him come talk to me.

"Going somewhere?" he asked.

"I don't know when my business became any of your concern." I said coldly.

I continued walking but he followed me.

"Wherever you're going, can I come?" he asked.

"No, I'm going to clear my head and I want to be alone, if that's fine with you."

"But I want to come."

"I wasn't asking you. I was telling you that it was going to be."

Dude, get the message that I'm not interested! Plus you're wasting my time.
