Flaca goes to podium holding Amber and Antonio, "Lauren was my best friend and sister from another mister. She was the godmother to my children and loved them. She was there when we lost my handsome husband. I have hope that they are up there watching all of us, I loved her as a sister and my heart goes out to her family, please don't forget we are here."
Dwayne comes to podium with Jamal and Angie, "We have known Lauren since she was a baby, and she was our goddaughter. Her husband has been a full time cook at our diner, and their children are always over. Oscar and family, I hope you know that our family is always here for you."
Abuelita comes with Ruben, Ruby, Geny, "Lauren was my step granddaughter, but in my heart, she was my grandbaby. She used to come to me since she was knee high whenever she was in pain or she was mad at her parents. She fought hard to be Oscars everything, including adopting little Logan and having our sweet sweet Esmy. Lauren will never be forgotten, and Abuelita and Family loves her." Geny speaks with Ruben: "We love you sweetheart and never forgotten, Oscar and kids know we are a call away." Ruby looks at crowd, "Lauren was my big sister who fought for Oscar to respect both Jamal and me. We would go every weekend and hang out, thanks to her Oscar wrote me a recommendation letter to college. I love you sis." We go back to chairs and Abuelita hugs Oscar tight and gives him a bag, "Please read this after."
Cesar and Lucero and Abby come to podium. Cesar looks at crowd, "Lauren helped my brother and I to be where we are. She accepted us even when her family hated us. She never gave up on us, and we all love her big heart." Lucero holding his hand and looks at crowd, "Lauren was my big sister, who never gave up on me. Growing up she always included me in everything, and when Cesar and I got together she was the first to accept him in our family. I will love her forever."
Fernando and Esmeralda come up. Fernando looks around and kisses Lucero head and holds her close and Esmeralda hiding my tears, "Our girls have the biggest heart and Lauren fought hard for our family to never give up. She loved everyone she met, and she was her baby sister's protector. We love you baby and we are here for your husband and kids." Esmeralda rubs his hand with tears, "Our girl loved everyone in this room including myself, but her world was Oscar Esmy and Logan. She once told me that she wished she had the strength of her dad and Oscar, because some days she questioned her strength. My sweetheart you were the strongest person I know, and we love you."
Oscar looks at them sit and carries Logan and Esmy to podium, Logan sits on podium and speaks to mic, "My mommy adopted me, but she was my only mommy, my heart hurts but she no longer in pain. I talk to her every night before bed, and I am going to talk to Esmy about her all the time. Please everyone doesn't feel bad for us, because we know you in pain to. Love you mommy and I will help daddy." Oscar kisses the top of their heads and looks at crowd, "My family wants to thank everyone for coming today and know that we love every single one of you for loving my wife. My wife was my world, she helped me give up a world that was never going to be good for me. I started a full-time job and we have two beautiful children." Wiping his tears shaking, "I love her with all my heart, and one day I believe that my kids and I will process it."
