♡Chapter 20: 30 weeks♡

Lauren POV

In bed watching movies with Logan and Amber, sees dad come next to me and smiles, "You know I love having you guys here this week, thank you."

Fernando smiles, "We love being here sweetheart, and being able to help with the nursery. How's your pain today?"

Lays head on his shoulder, "My back and hip hurt, but the doctor says its normal because of where I was shot. He gave me medicine that Oscar rubs on me every morning and night. Because of all the risks we don't want to add more medication." Smiles gets dads hand and puts where the baby is kicking, "Dad I want to ask you something." Sees him take kids to couch in room to take nap and sees him sit next to me.

Watches him rub my belly and looks at me, "Whats on your brain?"

Looks at my hands, "You are okay with Oscar right? Daddy I love both of you and it really hurt not to be able to speak to both of you."

He rubs my back as I cry on him, "Sweetheart I fully approve of him now,  I seen him these last 4 weeks work hard to keep you busy and to take you to appointments. I saw him in that waiting room, he was more stressed out than I was. Oscar has earned my respect and he definitely has your moms and Abuelas."

Smiles and nods yawns emotional, "Thank you."

Esmeralda POV

Folding the baby clothes in the dresser and sees Oscar with concerned look, "Fernando is with her, he wanted to talk to her and confirm she was okay. Why don't you go with Tony and Flaca for the night and take Logan with you? You need time away, and Lauren won't be alone."

Oscar nervous with anxiety, "What if she goes into labor? And she has this medicine that needs to be put on nightly and in the morning otherwise she will be in intense pain."

I come next to him and rub his shoulder, "Tell me what I need to do and I will do it for her. Oscar you need a mental break to. Go and talk to her about it and we will go from their."

Goes with him to room and smiles and sees her knocked out looks at Oscar, "When Lauren is in pain or scared growing up, no one else could comfort her. He was her first hero."

Oscar smiles and nods and comes next to her and rubs her back and she looks up at him, "Do you mind if I go to Tony and Flacas for a few days? Just to get some rest, and you can call me if need me."

I smile as I see her look at him in the eye and say, "Baby go and rest, I would say leave Logan but I can't help him. I know with Cesar at Rubys I been boring."

Oscar looks at her, "You are not boring my love, I am only going so you can get a break from me." Sees him look at Fernando, "I need to show Esmeralda something and I don't think my wife will be comfortable with you seeing." Fernando goes to kitchen and cooks.

Helps Lauren sit up and sees Oscar take her pants down, and listens to him, "Depending on how much pain she is in you can take just the pants. If she is in extreme pain we have noticed that taking her underwear off helps because that means that it is doing pressure on her. Now you use a whole hand amount for each spot that she is in pain." Sees her point to him her back and hip and him rub both, "After you are done with that, she needs to stay on her side for 30 minutes for it to kick in, normally we will chat or watch tv for her to concentrate on something. Also after the 30 minutes you need to check her BP, if the top number goes over 200 you need to check every 5 minutes for 30 minutes, if it doesn't improve that's a ER call. So far we haven't gotten that far."

Sees him help her on her side and rub her back as she closes eyes, "How are you feeling sweetheart?" She smiles at me and smiles soft, "I am okay mom, the pain isn't as bad as it was at first. Oscar, my witness, I used to scream as soon as he started rubbing."

Nods and kisses her head as she sleeps rubs her head and braids her hair looks at Oscar, "Thank you for loving my daughter."

Oscar nods and looks at Lauren, "Lauren saved me when I thought there was no hope, and then adopted my son. I love her ma'am."
