Oscar cooking lunch and having music on soft with coronas in the fridge looks at Lauren's ashes and smiles sad, "You will never be forgotten but I am taking your advice and not staying alone. I didn't have feelings for her when we were together or married."
Flaca comes behind Oscar and rubs his shoulders wearing one of his shirts, "You talking to my best friend?" Oscar nods and relaxes in your rub, "We talk to her every morning before the kids go to school."
Flaca looks at hands, "Is your offer for us to stay in garage apartment still on the table? My counselor suggested for us to move from the house, I get nightmares at least once a month from the memory. Amber found me a month ago shaking in a corner."
Oscar rubs her back and kisses her soft, "The offer is here for when you are ready, Tony wouldn't want you to suffer Flaca. He would want you to live your life and be happy." Hands her a letter, "I want you to read this, this is what Abuelita gave me at the memorial, Lauren gave it to her when she left the hospital after Esmy. She had a bad feeling that one day it would happen."
Hands her a corona and keeps cooking sees her crying. Flaca looks at me, "She wanted you to move on and not hurt, she even paid off the house and the bills for the first 5 years with her parents help and left the kids college money."
Oscar nods eating and drinking my corona with her rubbing her hand, "When I first read that letter I went to the garage and started throwing things. That night was my breaking point, but then I understood why she told me to move on, she didn't want me to give up and find someone to help with the kids. Esmy was only 6 months."
Cesar POV
Comes in with Lucero and looks at them, "What are you two talking about?" Points at ashes, "Hey Lauren good morning."
Flaca smiles at us and rubs Oscar hand, "You two are the first to know that we are officially together. Please don't be mad Lucero, your sister will never be forgotten."
Oscar smiles and hugs us both, "That's the second best news I heard today, you both deserve this news after your 3 years you been through."
Flaca hugs us both and smiles, "That means Esmeralda and I can plan a baby shower finally, we been waiting for you two to announce."
I look at her in shock, "How did you know?"
Flaca chuckles in Oscar hold as he holds her from behind, "First off, the other day when we went shopping you walked very slow and got sick twice. Second, Cesar keeps trying very hard to not touch your belly. Third, you look ready to get sick right now, Cesar get her to the bathroom and I will make a smoothie"
Nods and follows her to the bathroom and holds her hair as she gets sick and whispers, "I love you and will be here every step."
Oscar POV
Smiles watches and helps Flaca make smoothie, "You think 4 kids are enough, or want to try for #5 for us to have one together?"
Flaca smiles at me and rubs my hand, "I think #5 is a good idea, but I want us together for awhile before that. Don't forget I still work from home and that would be okay, we can deal with 5 kids."
Sees Lucero come next to me and looks up at me with red eyes and holds her close smiles, "You got this little one, and honestly this is the 2nd best news I have had in a long time. Lucero, your sister was my world and a piece of my heart will always be hers but she would want all of us living."
Lucero looks at me with tears and nods. Cesar comes next to us and holds her close as she cries, "Thanks to you Mano I had a good father figure."
I look at him and smiles, "If you two need anything let us know, and just to let you know the kids know."
