Hobbs nods, "I am not here to lecture you because I can't imagine what's on your mind. Just remember that Alejandra loves you and those 5 kids, and although you didn't go to college you succeeded and now even have a full time job."
Nods and hands him my fries, "Yes but you know what I wanted to be growing up? I wanted to do the same as my little brother, I wanted to be a architect and build apartments for our neighborhoods. My GPA is higher than his. Instead I barely graduated high school and a week later I ended up in jail. My first wife died from a seizure and aneurysm. My best friend got killed apparently by second wifes dad. Everyday I question if I am a horrible husband and father. I love her Hobbs but I feel betrayed."
Hobbs nods, "Thats normal feeling and trust me I know your history. You think I would have let you marry her without background check? I can have your record expunged you know."
I look at him, "i hear a but in there."
He points at his car where Flaca is standing next to it, "As long as you talk to her. The kids are with Laurens parents and some Abuelita lady."
Chuckle and point finger at him, "Don't mess with that lady. That's everyone's grandma."
Sees him leave and Flaca come next to me lays my jacket around her gets her hand as we watch the beach, "I am more hurt than mad, it makes me wonder if everything has been a lie. I would never leave you because I love you and that goes over the hurt." Rubs her belly as the baby kick under my hand.

Relaxes in his hold and cries soft, "Oscar I have loved you for the last 3 almost 4 years and I can't imagine going through this life without you. Please Please do not give up on us and our family. I can't lose another husband."
Oscar holds me close and rubs my back, "Hey beautiful I would never leave you; I love you and our 5 crazy kiddos. Our little one that loves my voice, Esmy who answers everything with a no, Antonio who loves that Nemo movie, Amber who questions everything I do just like her mother, and Logan my sweet boy that is scared of everything. And their beautiful mom who takes my temper tantrums."
I smile and kisses him soft, "I think you can go back to school, do it online. I want you to get that college degree you deserve."
