It has been a year and a half since the end of the Human-Siro War (or Human-Siren War), everyone has recovered successfully, Nagato and Mutsu decided to stay with the Emperor in exile where they later oathed to him. The world is at peace once more. The kids also just came back from school.

They leave and go for a walk around the harbor.
