SINCE THAT FAITHFUL DAY ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO WHEN I MET MY ADOPTED FAMILY, IT WAS FAIRLY QUIET. With Cedric gone most of the time for school it allowed me to bond with Amos and Beatrice Diggory. The love they had spared for me was real, but it hurt every single day that they can never know who I truly am. I would be kicked to curb quicker before I can even say quidditch. It hurt most to lie to Cedric.

He was truly my best friend, my brother. I loved him, but of course not telling the truth will be safer for him. Even being at Hogwarts, Cedric made sure to make his brotherly prescene in my life, it seemed as if he was missing someone in his life too until i came around. He did everything he could to be around me. He wrote everyday, teaching me about magic and Hogwarts. He was kindest soul I ever met and if something were to ever happen to him my soul will go with him.

But now I was able to join Cedric at Hogwarts walking through the platform of 9 3/4, my adopted mother hovering trying to make sure we had everything before we had to leave till Christmas time, but of course she can always owl if we manage to forget something. "Mum stop we're fine, Eleanor made lists to make sure we both had everything" Cedric said as he tried to pry her hands from his robes to straighten him out a bit.

This was an especially hard time, Beatrice was used to the pre scene of Eleanor in the house as she had a young girl to nurture over as her son was miles away from her. "We will be fine Mum, I will make sure Cedric and I will write every week" I tell her giving her small hug as the train hooted signaling as it was soon to depart as it leave at exactly eleven o'clock.

We had said our goodbyes, I wasn't sure if I was excited to be going to Hogwarts. All I knew is that I can't hide in the Diggory house forever even if I wanted to. I was now going to be easier to find. Those who knew the name Eleanor Swan-Riddle knew I existed and they were out there looking for me doing his dirty work.

The train ride was loud, as students of all ages came bustling through the various train cabins holding the students of each of the fours houses of Hogwarts School. It was late at night by the time they arrived, Rubeus Hagrid led them towards the Black Lake as they exited out of Hogsmeade Station

All the excited students rushed towards the Great Hall where they waited for Professor McGonagall, I had caught her eye and gave me a reassuring smile. I have met Professor McGonagall when I first showed up using the Time Turner, I believe she always felt sorry for me as her green wrinkled eyes looked at me with pity, but she also had this worried look in her eyes. I believe she is afraid of me because of my bloodline but she'll never say that to my face of course.

Shortly Professor McGonagall gave them a short explanation of each of the houses, Eleanor wasn't sure what house she was destined for, her mother was a Ravenclaw and her father a Slytherin, she expected either of the two, but she wasn't sure none of those two houses seemed to fit her.

She swore that she will be nothing like her father, she had hoped for any house but Slytherin. Even though she was an heir to Salazar Slytherin she wanted nothing to do with the name, her fears got the worst of her when it came to Lord Voldemort. She knew nothing of him but knew everything.

Soon enough they followed Professor McGonagall to the Great Hall, Eleanor did everything possible to avoid the eyes of the older students. They stopped suddenly Eleanor almost tripping as she was slightly pushed. Eleanor looked at the old hat that sat upon the stool. McGonagall had called their names.
