CLASSES QUICKLY RESUMED TO NORMAL. After all the students had a restless sleep in the Great Hall, Eleanor ran to DADA so she was not to be late for class. She had to take notes for herself and Tristin as he was staying in bed today starting to feel ill as he had his transformation at the end of the week.
Harry Potter trailed behind her who seemed to also be running late, Harrys tpped in front of her to open the door for her "thanks" she muttered
She looked up seeing Professor Snape, she looked behind her into the corridor wondering if she walked into the wrong classroom "You're in the right room Miss. Diggory, sit." he said to all the students in the room looking at her and Potter she quickly made her way to the empty seat next to Alfie "Where's Professor Lupin?" she asked Alfie but was interrupted as Snape began speaking
Everyone's attention went towards the door "This lesson began ten minutes ago, so I think we'll make it ten points from Gryffindor. Sit down."
Harry grumbled under his breath but didn't make a move to sit down "Where's Professor Lupin?"
Snape mouth twisted into a smirk "He says he is feeling too ill to teach today. I believe I told you to sit down?"
"What's wrong with him?" Harry went on, still standing in place.
"Nothing life-threatening. Five more points from Gryffindor, and if I have to ask you to sit down again, it will be fifty."
Harry quietly went to his seat without an interruption.
"As I was saying before Potter interrupted, Professor Lupin has not left any record of the topics you have covered so far..."
"Please sir, we've done Bogarts, red caps, Kappas and Grindylows" Hermione said quickly to correct Snape "and we're just about to start--"
"Be quiet" Snape snarled coldly. "I did not ask for information. I was merely commenting on Professor Lupin's lack of organization
"He's the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher we've ever had" Dean Thomas said boldly, shortly followed with murmurs of agreement.
Even Eleanor had to agree this is the most they've learned within this class in the past two years of starting Hogwarts as the position is known to be cursed as no one could help keep down their job to save their life even with knowing the bad luck this position hold, Snape still wants to become a DADA professor as he had been going after it for years on end.
"You are easily satisfied. Lupin is hardly overtaxing you, I would expect first years to deal with Red Caps and Grindylows—" he began
"Excuse me Professor but due to our past Defense Professors we haven't much learned how to deal with Red Caps and Grindylows only have read about them sir, i'm sure Professor Lupin knew of this and wanted to catch us up to speed" Eleanor interrupted telling her Head of House her thoughts and siding with the Gryffindor's
Everyone stared at Eleanor, a Slytherin had gone against Snape, but the eyes that stared at her with much curiosity was Harry's.
But Snape paid no mind to Eleanor's quick speech "Today we shall discuss— Werewolves" he filled towards the back of the textbook
Alfie snapped his head to Eleanor and back to Cassidy, they all were confused as to why Snape would skip lessons just to talk about Werewolves.
"But, Sir" Hermione interrupted "we're not on werewolves yet we're due to start Hinkypunks"
