It's a Big Day

Chloe POV

"Jack, can we talk," I asked him as I walked out of the bathroom. Since school was out and today was Jackson's draft day we were heading to his house, in Atlanta. My family was coming over around 5 but me and Jackson were heading over there early. 

"yeah baby what's up," he said as I sat on the bed.

"sit down," I said as he walked into my room,

"why what's wrong," he said as I patted the seat next to me.

"Chloe, whats' wrong, " he asked me as he crouched in front of me as I had tears streaming down my cheeks.

"please just sit down," I asked him as he sat beside me.

"what's wrong," he asked me as I turned to look at him.

"so I know that you just basically signed your life away to the Major Leagues and we aren't exactly sure how our living situations would be but we're gonna have to move together." I told him as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"why," he asked me as I grabbed the little white stick out from under me.

"because I'm pregnant," I said as I handed him the stick that read pregnant 4-6 weeks on it.

"what," he asked me as he looked up at me.

"I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do," I told him as I started sobbing so he wrapped his arms around me.

"baby, it's ok," he said as I shook my head.

"no it's not, we're 21 years old, we shouldn't be having kids, we should be thinking about marriage not kids," I told him as he nodded.

" I know but what can we do about it," he asked me as I shrugged my shoulders.

"I know both of our parents are gonna be there tonight so I thought after your signing we tell them," I told him as he glanced down at the test.

"and you're positive your pregnant," he asked me as I nodded.

"there's 6 more of those in the bathroom all positive," I told him as he took a deep breath.

" shit babe," he told me as I nodded

"I know," I told him as he smiled up at me.

"but, we're having a baby," he said as I furrowed my eyebrows at him.

"you're happy about this," I asked him and he nodded

"why wouldn't I, yeah it's earlier than I had expected but we're old enough and mature enough to take care of a baby, and we're about to be financially stable enough," he said as I nodded.

"but you just signed 5 years of your life away, this baby comes in 8 months and you can't exactly take paternity leave Jackson, your job isn't like normal jobs," I told him as he nodded.

"I know trust me but I will be there for you guys I promise," he said as I nodded.

"are you sure that you are ok telling our families tonight, we're gonna be throwing a lot on them, the career change and now a baby," I asked Jackson as he nodded.

"it's best we get it over with in one move right," he said as he kissed my forehead.

"you promise not to leave me," I said as he kissed my lips.

"I'm promise to never leave you Chloe," he said as I nodded.

"ok lets go," I said as he nodded, he grabbed my bag off of the counter as we walked downstairs and we headed to his car.
